Olalani Resort & Condotel Reviews

I recently stayed at the Olalani Hotel and had a ok experience overall. The location is good, and the amenities are ok. However, there are a few areas for improvement that would elevate the experience even further. Firstly, the in-room slippers provided were not new, which was a bit disappointing. It would be great to see fresh, unused slippers for guests. Additionally, I believe that providing pots and pans for cooking, along with proper cooking utensils, cutlery, and plates, would enhance the self-catering experience for condo hotel experience. I also noticed that the in-room menu was not readily available, which could be improved for convenience. A rice cooker in the room would be an excellent addition for guests who prefer to prepare their meals. Bathtub master bedroom must have a privacy, not see through glass. Ceiling maintenance access is open The tiki bar, while a lovely concept, felt empty and could benefit from a more vibrant atmosphere. Kids pool is dirty. Souvenir shop, way over priced. Furthermore, I would suggest rotating the buffet items more frequently to keep the offerings fresh and exciting. On a minor note, I found that the staff at the egg station were not as friendly as I had hoped, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Despite these issues, we enjoyed the stay and would recommend Olalani Hotel for its beautiful setting. With a few adjustments, it could easily become a five-star destination!

We arrived at night time and the place looked like a ghost town. You’d think for a tourist destination and a resort with a few hundred rooms that there would be people there, but it felt like we were the only guests. Breakfast time also felt the same, where a room that could seat 500+ had 10 people in it. I give it to them though, they put on a hell of a breakfast. The housekeeping team, whilst friendly, speak no English and in the 7 nights we were there, cleaned the bathroom once and never looked in the shower. Our soaps were all empty and they left no toilet paper multiple times. For a “5” star facility, it definitely didn’t feel like one. We were ready to leave after the first night and find accomodation elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend, unless you are after a large bed to sleep in, a decent breakfast and then head out for the whole day. The resort could be one of the premier resorts in DaNang if they took some pride and maintenance around the place. I’m sure there will be a reason, but for the east wing too also be abandoned/run down and not in use made the place feel like an apocalypse had hit it.

No! Just no! Room was filthy with mould in the bathroom and the slippers they provide are reused beach flip flops. ( incredibly unhygienic!) The toilets in the lobby were filthy. I have no clue how this place is 5 star. They don’t provide a safe in the room or robes and only have one staff member on duty at night.

It's a very spacious and luxurious hotel because it was built a long time ago. I'm also very satisfied with the breakfast.. I couldn't swim because it was cold, but I want to swim next time on a clear day~

This is a great room with a lot of space. There are 3 bedrooms and the balcony has a great view. I really think it’s worth the money. The swimming pool is also fun and has direct access to the beach at the back. It feels like a vacation. The only drawback is that the kitchen only has a furnishing function, and there is no dishwashing liquid to wash greasy cups and plates. It is a pity that this is a birthday trip, and the hotel also specially prepared a small cake, which is delicious and thoughtful. The room is on the 5th floor, and it is quite far from the elevator (only one elevator is open). It is recommended to use more elevators to avoid inconvenience, because you have to wait for a long time every time you want to go downstairs. And I even waited three times without stopping on the 5th floor. I was really puzzled. The gym facilities are a bit too sparse, maybe because not many people use them and they don’t pay special attention to them! The entire hotel is very large, and maintenance should not be easy. In addition, there is too much competition near the beach, so it can be seen that many rooms and facilities are not in use. It is a pity. I wish the hotel business will continue to prosper.

It was cleaner and better than I thought. The sea view outside the window was also very pretty. It's a shame I could only stay for one day. The room was very spacious and the air conditioner was very cool.

It is the best value for money. It's great for our family of 4 to stay. The facilities are old, but everything else is good. The workers are friendly and the three swimming pools are directly connected to the sea.
