Courtyard Houston Northwest/Cypress

This hotel did not meet our standards. In an internet search, it indicated it was the best in Cypress, TX, but I don't think that was true. It was however, the hotel that the bride and groom had a group rate for. The rate was decent, but the room was not. We met family members at the wedding who were also disappointed and had similar experiences. It was dated. The room and the bathroom didn't appear super clean. The phone receiver was pretty nasty. We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but we left after our sleepless 2nd night. I was up until 5am, as the pillows were super flat and the sound of the A/C unit was far from quiet. The room was small, so the cold air filled it fast and we couldn't seem to get the temperature regulated. It was very humid outside and was a bit humid in the room as well. The one compliment I can give is that ALL of the guest services members we talked to were really nice and helpful. They helped print a document for my husband that he made a change to. I forgot her name, but the young lady with long black ponytail at the desk was super sweet, helpful, engaged in conversation and showed genuine concern for us when we told her we were leaving early. They've got the right staff, but they hotel needs some TLC.

The entire staff is fantastic! I have stayed here twice for business travel and everyone has gone above and beyond! The check in process is easy, they have accepted packages and had them ready upon my arrival, the restaurant/bar staff is friendly. This is my go-to place when I travel to Cypress for events in the area for work.

Bridget was very helpful and very kind , she gave us all the information we needed and made checking in a breeze. She was definitely 10 out 10

Friendly staff and very welcoming! Bridget was such a breath of fresh air! There were places to work if you needed to, and many places to eat in the surrounding area that is within walking distance.
