Well detailed boutique hotel, greeted politely at the front desk for check in, the room was spotless and few yards away from the beautiful seaview. Excellent breakfast. Worth the price.

There's no elevator. The sanitation is poor, with a layer of dust on the table. The facilities are relatively new. The surrounding area is relatively quiet. It's very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. There's a good fish and chips place at the intersection. They're freshly fried and especially fragrant. Don't park in the pay parking lot next to it. You can park for free on the small street behind.

Stayed here as a treat away from the kids. Always heard good things about the place from friends. On arrival, we were greeted by wonderful staff who were very informative. We were in room 203 which to be honest was not worth the £190 see the photos. Dusty edges and a very stained loo seat. Sink cupboard in the bathroom was looking very tired, again as I said not very luxury, nor is it worth the £190 per night. Food on the other hand was amazing and hats off to the chef. Will return for food but not for a stay unfortunately.

Passing through Cullen en route to Fraserburgh, we stopped for a lunch break in Picturesque Cullen , a seaside town divide into two parts. One part is an old fishers village by the sandy bay , while the commercial part is located away from the sea. We checked out a number of restaurants for Cullen skink(the famous soup) The Seafield Arms was the only one serving food all day. We arrived at 3.45pm and were welcomed into the hotel restaurant where ordered the famous local dish of Skink. It was truly delicious ,served piping hot with fresh crusty bread. With prompt ,friendly service we had a memorable experience and would highly recommend.

We dined as a party of 7, including one child, in the bar. Food choice very good, with delicious food presented well in lovely bar area. I can particularly recommend the chilli cheese burgers which 3 of our party chose. The staff were all very polite and friendly. Only negative point is that we sat down at our table at 5pm and live music started at around 6:30pm. Although the guitarist was very good, quite honestly we could not talk above the music. I feel the music should’ve started later or at least been more of a “background “ affair” whilst people were dining as conversation was impossible.

This was our second child free break at the Seafield Arms, having visited last year for our tenth wedding anniversary. Simply a wonderful hotel. A beautiful room, fantastic food and brilliant staff. The hotel has a warm and traditional yet vibrant feel, we loved the refurbished bar 19. Having holidayed in Cullen as a child, I have very fond memories of the place, and now I've fallen in love with it again (and the Seafield Arms). Thanks for another lovely stay, and we will be back!
