We had a very poor dining experience. Overpriced mains with almost no garnish requiring you to order sides. Poor cooking - my wife's halibut at £40 was overcooked and my roasted squash was one sad piece lacking flavour with minimal garnish. The mains took an hour to come despite the fact the restaurant was not busy. We paid £92 for a bowl of nuts, a portion of bread, the halibut and squash and a side of baked carrots and hispi cabbage. The service was perfunctory. No one offered to explain the dishes or the concept and this just added to the impression of being taken for granted as a customer. Although we visit this area often we won't be coming back.

Just perfect for a birthday celebration. Warm welcome; cosy, luxurious room and delicious Sunday Roast. Staff very accommodating. Will definitely return.

We wanted a couple of days away in a small cosy hotel with first class food, accommodation and staff and the Coorie Inn surpassed our expectations all round. We were warmly welcomed and looked after with vibrant , friendly and professional staff from the moment we arrived until we left. we are already looking forward to booking again next Spring or Summer.

As perfect as a stay could be. Great food served by well trained staff, friendly yet respectful. Desserts in particular were wonderful. Decor of our room was well thought out. Will be back!

I stayed at Coorie Inn as a last minute get away and I was lucky to find a room at this gorgeous Inn. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The rooms have just been renovated and it shows…the final touches are exquisite. The bed was delightfully comfortable and the room was cosy and warm. Our evening meal was beautifully cooked and service was friendly but not intrusive. Thank you Andrew for looking after us so well on both our dinner and breakfast experience. All in all this place is a real gem and I’ll be sure to book again for a relaxing, cosy get away. Coorie Inn….just perfect

A nice place to stay, but not quite as much scope to coorie in as expected. The rooms are not spacious (except Room 1), but they are well appointed and nicely decorated, with a large (very soft) bed. No thermostat on the radiator meant the room was cold on arrival and hot in the night. The shower room was adequate, but we found it annoying not to have anywhere to put anything in the shower cubicle (including the toiletry dispensers provided) other than on the floor. Also, the damaged showerhead had not been replaced, despite having apparently been reported previously. The public area consists of a large dining room and small lounge/bar. The bar has comfy seating only for about four or five people, and when we went down for pre-dinner drinks at 6.30pm these were occupied and the log fire (nice touch) was almost out (not so good). Unfortunately, the central 'feature' log burning stove in the dining room was also left unattended, and had gone out by about 7.30pm. Dinner was very good, as expected, although it was slightly annoying how many things, including vegetables, were charged as extras on top of the 'dinner, bed & breakfast' rate. As we often find in places majoring on their dinners, the breakfast was very disappointing. Our choice from the menu was restricted, the only coffee available was standard 'filter', and the cooked breakfast, while generous, was all pre-cooked in that tired, greasy way that lazy breakfast chefs excel at.

Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Good room, attentive staff and very good food. The restaurant serves traditional three course dinners but the cooking is anything but ordinary. When so many fine dining places are now serving tiny little plates it is great to see somewhere paying the same attention to a traditional dinner format. Couldn't fault any of it.

The Coorie Inn is beautifully located in a peaceful small village — a perfect place to relax and unwind. The restaurant is charming and inviting, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spotless, newly renovated, and in excellent condition, featuring high ceilings and tasteful décor with great attention to detail. The wine list is impressive and perfectly curated. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and flexible, making the stay even more enjoyable. A wonderful experience all around!
