The hotel is excellent. The Gitte, where we stayed, is luxurious, clean, quiet, spacious and charming. Large rooms , with quality mattress, bed sheets, and bath towels. We didn't use the kitchen. Breakfasts were very good, with freshly squeezed orange juice, well cooked eggs, fresh delicious well made pastries. The staff were all very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, booking restaurants etc. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Beautiful property with great service. We had the family room and it was very large. It felt like you were in a palace. We purchased the breakfast which was delicious. We did get dinner recommendations and they did book a place for us. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the Manoir. The rooms are spectacular, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing with many options. The staff and service were all beyond on expectations. A must place to see and stay in Normandy.

Cadre superbe : il faut visiter les recoins de cette magnifique batisse Restaurant : impeccable Logement à l'annexe : la ferme de Mathan : même style, chambres tres chaleureuses mais toutes différentes semble-t-il. Nous avions une tres grande salle de bains mais celle de nos amis était minuscule

Arrivée a l’accueil de la ferme de la Ranconnière, reçu par une jeune fille très sympathique, qui nous a accompagnées jusqu’au manoir de Mathan ou nous avons découvert une magnifique chambre (n°64) au rdc, très propre et spacieuse, terrasse avec accès sur le parc arrière. Très calme. Le petit déjeuner buffet bien varié, avec un accueil super sympathique Le rapas du soir est pris à la ferme de la Ransonnière. Très bon menu servi par un personnel très agréable. Le deuxième jour, pour notre anniversaire de mariage, choix du menu tradition avec une superbe garniture-surprise de l’assiette à dessert (voir Photo). Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce week-end agréable. Situation idéale pour les visites historiques. À refaire sans hésitation!

Since Le Manoir de Mathan is a former castle, it's an old fascinating building and a very nice place to stay. Rooms are very big and have two different bathrooms - one with the toilet. Beds are big and confortable. Cleanliness is very good but not perfect. The garden is very nice. The location is fabulous because, though the hotel is in the countryside, you can easily reach some highways. Unfortunately wardrobe locks didn't work. Breakfast could be a bit better.
