Furnished to a high standard, with two king sized bedrooms each with their own large en suite wet rooms, a third king sized bedroom and a single bedroom with an additional pull out bed, sharing a separate wet room. Open plan kitchen/lounge with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, TV, free WiFi, wood burner, BBQ and many thoughtful extras. Absolutely beautiful spacious cottage for 8 of us and 2 dogs outdoor area so big for the children and dogs to play, it was so clean and had everything we needed.

Peaceful break

Perfect peace in Shropshire
We travelled to England to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and wanted a place to get away that was accessible. The cottage was perfect for us, we loved the countryside and the peaceful luxuries in the cottage. Matt was a wonderful host, providing us with good local food suggestions as well as some fresh food staples when we arrived.
We also appreciated all the literature about the surrounding areas. We would definitely return if we can, as it is really well set up and laid out for anyone.
We highly recommend staying here.

60th birthday celebrations
8 of us in our 50s to celebrate a 60th birthday. What a fabulous place. Beautiful, peaceful and perfect for us all to have an amazing weekend together. Stunning place. Nothing was too much trouble for host Matt. Lovely man. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Multi generational delight
A great long weekend for all three generations. Little ones could run around inside and out all on the same level. The older ones could walk, and walk, and walk, in the great countryside. Castle ruins close by. Pubs and shops close too (by car). Hightly recommend this lodge.

Perfect venue for reunion with friends

Stunning location and beautiful property
Matt hide away in the Shropshire Hills was the perfect weekend excape for our multi generational and mixed mobility family group the area is breathtaking and the property was immaculate and the host Matt was a absolute Gent with fantastic communication throughout and flexibility. A super property and a super host.

Birthday Barn Break
Three couples and 3 dogs stayed at Matts beautiful remote barn and had a wonderful time. The cleanliness and description of the property was A1 !! It was exactly what I wanted. The host met us and explained simply and professionally where everything was and how it worked. We literally wanted for nothing.. beautiful countryside amazing places to visit and a cosy log burner to come home to. Perfect.
