We stayed here as a stopover on the way there and back on a trip to the Czech Republic and were more than satisfied. The family room with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom was spacious and very comfortably furnished. Modern, pleasant design. Wonderful beds - I haven't slept so well in a long time. The tightly closing windows keep out all noise - there is a busy road in front of the hotel. An incredible number of power sockets! Even if you have to plug in a lot of electrical devices - no problem. WiFi in the room is a bit weak, though. Very nice, spacious bathroom with a wonderful bathtub and a shower. Towel racks for the bath towels would also be desirable, as they don't need to be changed daily. The day begins with a fantastic breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. All products are of first-class quality. The fruit salad is homemade and not from a can. Various types of cream cheese - I have rarely had such a delicious breakfast in a hotel! You can tell that the hotel is owner-managed - they pay attention to small details that make the difference. The hotel is conveniently located and has plenty of parking spaces. Crailsheim train station is just a few minutes' walk away; there is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Crailsheim itself is a pleasant little town, but it doesn't have any special sights to offer. The town was largely destroyed in the war. Anyone looking for local restaurants will be disappointed. You should head to Rot am See, where the Lamm and Adler inns are highly recommended. The Crailsheim city hotel is also a good starting point for trips to Dinkelsbühl, Rothenburg ob der Tauber or Schwäbisch Hall.
