We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, with the hot tub making it particularly nice. Hopefully the restaurant shall consider its offering & the comments made.

Well presented hotel with stunning views across the water. The room was very comfortable and came with quality snacks which was a nice touch. The spa facilities are quite dated (steam room didn’t work) and you cannot have alcohol in the hot tub which compared to hotels of a similar calibre is disappointing. Regardless, the hot tub is a nice touch. We visited during the off-peak season so there wasn’t much life about the hotel or local area, the only option we had for evening entertainment was to watch TV in our room; there is plenty of space to add a games area / pool table which may have improved the evening experience. The low mood, slow music playing in the evening actively discouraged us from sitting in the bar area. At 11pm we requested a bottle of wine for our room which was rejected due to the bar being shut, again this was disappointing compared to hotels of a similar calibre - it’s like the owners don’t want to make extra (easy) money! The hotel is advertised as a destination, however it’s better suited to those who are exploring Mull and like an early night. Having visited many remote and island hotels of 4 and 5 stars, this hotel failed to reach 4 stars in my opinion.

This is a truly lovely place with absolutely amazing views. The location is breathtaking, and the hotel itself is immaculate. I would absolutely come back. However, to earn that flawless five-star score, I encourage and empower the concierge team to think laterally when issues arise. Sadly, the one thing I'll remember isn't the wonderful location, but the simple fact that my TV didn't work one evening and the concierge merely noted the issue. From a hotel of this caliber, I would have expected a more proactive, empowered response than just acknowledging the problem. A small slip, but one that overshadowed an otherwise perfect stay.

We stayed for two nights (19th–21st October) and had an amazing time from start to finish. The food was excellent , both in the restaurant and the bar, and the service was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. The staff went above and beyond with a surprise “Happy Birthday” plate for my partner, which really made our visit extra special. The spa facilities were spotless, peaceful, and a lovely way to relax. Everything about our stay felt easy and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back! Couldn't recommend it more!

We had some time to kill before our ferry departed and decided to pop in here for a snack. Very comfy atmosphere in the bar area, cosy chairs. We had drinks and shared the Brie and Camembert cheese appetizer. So delish. It hit the spot. Nice, relaxing time here.

We stayed here for two nights after being let down by our original accommodation and unable to find anything else. On arrival the building is less than appealing, it reminded me of a 70’s holiday camp. Plenty of available parking and upon entering the hotel the reception area is very warm and welcoming. We were booked in by a very friendly and informative gentleman and then we began the hike to our room, which was down two flights of stairs (no lift) and down a long corridor. The room itself was fairly small but warm and comfortable with a selection of snacks. The view was non existent as we were effectively in the basement! The bathroom had an underlying smell of drains but the shower was good. We booked into the restaurant for dinner on the second night but having looked at the menu (very limited and very expensive) we asked to relocate to the bar. Food was decent and the choice for breakfast was very good. We did not use the spa facilities so can’t comment. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Not sure I would stay again.

We stayed at the Isle of Mull Hotel recently and had a wonderful time. Lovely room, and good food. Emma in the spa was wonderful. She was welcoming and professional and explained everything (I tend not to go for treatments usually but Emma put my mind at rest). We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Pool is grim and freezing and smells of urine, lots of hairs floating. This could easily be remedied. Just heat the water and add the correct amount of chemicals and maintain the filter. Boom! 💥 a warm and hygienic pool!
