Cheap room for a reason
It maybe is the adage you get what you pay for but the room was very unclean and obvious it hadn’t been touched in a while expect the bed. Strong smell of damp, sockets didn’t work and bed was uncomfortable etc. The rate for the room was on the cheaper end but still expect basic cleanliness/amenities

We recently occupied 2 double rooms for 4 days in this wonderfully atmospheric cottage complex in Moira. There is great access from Clenaghans to the nearby motorway system that can connect you to every part of Northern Ireland. The onsite team of Ivan, Angela, and Noel went above and beyond to ensure our family group had a magnificent experience and they were an absolute pleasure to interact with in each and every way. We would strongly recommend this accommodation to others.

Quiet, comfortable off the beaten path oasis
The host greeted us upon arrival and based on remoteness and outside appearance were not expecting much. That’s when Buttons the ‘doodle’ four legged greeter came up and really welcomed us! WHAT A SWEETIE. Our rooms were perfect. Spacious, comfy and beautiful. Our host also provided breakfast supplies for us. Wish the nearby bar and restaurant were open but after a long day it didn’t matter much. A hidden gem!

It is a beautiful place with loads of character and a lovely beer garden. We were, however, very disappointed with our meal. The portions were small and overpriced and some of the starters were bland. We would not be rushing back to eat here again but would gladly go to have a drink in the cosy bar.

Handy place to stay
Nice shower, pretty & rustic room with ensuite. Tea & coffee provided, plus toiletries and nice towels.
Bed was quite squeaky. There is a smell of damp which is fairly strong.

Very unique rooms in a old stone farm/castle-like setting. Very clean. Conveniently located near local pubs but with a short drive into Belfast. Highly recommended
