Courtyard Cincinnati Covington

I have visited the hotel for the weekend and it was great. The hotel reception was really really nice and if there was time for a small chit chat it was a nice chit chat. I also had some questions about surrounding and got my answers. My room was in the 7th floor with a great view to the other side. Hot water was available fast, room was clean. The window was able to open a bit. Enough space in the room and I had at least light. Ok the lightconcept could be a bit more optimized but it is not dark. Yes the room smelled a bit so open the window get some fresh air in the room and everything is fine. If I would recommend this hotel - Yes. I walked to the ballpark and some other surrounding so it was at least for me a good spot also in comparison to the price. Parking was for free another plus. In Cincinnati if you book there a hotel in the city enjoy the parking price which should be added to the hotel cost by selection. Thanks to the Courtyard Hotel for there great service and if you want to find something to complain you will find it in all hotels.

I'm Lifetime Platinum with Marriott so sadly I've stayed in my fair share of Courtyard properties. This one needs a little attention. Heavily perfumed lobby and filthy walls everywhere including the doors inside the elevator. The doors seem like someone dumped some beverage down the doors weeks ago and no one has bothered to clean them up. Housekeeping knocked on our door early and told her we'd be out soon. She never returned so no fresh linens or other service. There is a full service Marriott near by along with other properties. Recommended you stay elsewhere.

I’m grudgingly giving a 3 bc the staff was very friendly, polite, attentive & helpful. But the physical property … a 2 for sure. The place is so over perfumed you know they are hiding unpleasant smells. Our room was stale & sour. The carpet stuck to our feet. The AC was loud & the controls inadequate. The beds were fine. The furniture was well worn, emphasis on worn. The sandwich we had was fine. But the breakfast that comes with the room if you choose that option … inedible. The breakfast sandwich was soggy & greasy. Obviously hours old. The yogurt parfait was ok. The coffee was good. We had booked for 4 nights. We left after 1. This hotel needs a serious updating/restoration.

Overall for the hotel it’s a two. If you think you are staying at a traditional courtyard think again! The cleanliness and customer service is sub par.

Room was very nice, clean, and I liked the set up of furniture, different. The bed was comfortable but the sheets did not smell fresh, musty smell.
