Nice hotel that presents well. It's not in a "bad" part of town, per se, but it also felt a little more industrial around it than expected.
Doesn't have a distinct "hotel smell" that's usually tied to chlorine or cleaners. Amenities were nice and the room was clean. Someone had pooped on the side of the pool when we had arrived, although that wasn't any fault of the hotel. It was promptly closed for the night and reopened the next morning. Staff was friendly and we can't say there were any real snags.
It was a little strange that we booked a room with a king bed and pull-out sofa bed for 4 people, yet upon arriving to the room, there wasn't any linen or pillows for the pull-out sofa. We had to ask for linen, and it was promptly delivered to our room, it just seemed off that we booked the room clearly for 4 people and didn't have the linen for it.

The location is good, the hotel facilities are very new, the view outside the window is also OK, the indoor swimming pool is suitable for children to swim in winter

Overall, it is a good hotel. One thing they can do better is to out a sign on their EV charging station parking to be reserved for EV only. A lot of the time there were non-EV parked there blocking the charging station.

Convenient to downtown. Parking was tight but we found a spot. Front desk receptionists were very friendly. Hotel looked like it had been updated. Fresh ground by the cup coffee at breakfast was delicious and there were Keurigs in the room.
