"I booked my father in for a night at Ballyliffin TownHouse while he was visiting family, and I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better experience for him. From the moment he arrived, the staff went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, he was treated with such kindness & genuine care throughout his stay. He said the hotel was spotless, cosy, and had such a lovely, homely atmosphere. The new spa and location were perfect, close to the beach and other hotels for a bit of company. He enjoyed a peaceful rest in the afternoon and some good conversation & laughter in the bar later on. The Irish breakfast was a real highlight, beautifully cooked with plenty of choice & served with a warm smile. He left saying he felt truly cared for and was genuinely sad to go. A huge thank you to everyone at Ballyliffin TownHouse for looking after him so well. True Irish hospitality at its very best !!"

"We had booked a courtyard room but were upgraded to a Deluxe double which was huge and extremely comfortable.The bathroom was fantastic and the bed and linens excellent.We even had a turndown service which we did not expect.We ate in the bar and the food and cocktails were excellent.Breakfast was also excellent and we are hard to please!!!!! The spa is lovely but would benefit from a covered walkway from the hotel as it was raining the whole time we were there.In general we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will stay again.Very friendly and pleasant staff."

Stunning view in the fabulous weather. The food is excellent & breakfast is not the usual buffet. Instead the staff take each guest’s order & tailor the food as requested. Nothing is too much bother for the wonderful staff. Dinners were first class as well. I have no problem thoroughly recommending Caisleáin Óir to anyone thinking of a stay in this delightful area of Donegal,"

"The location of the Shandon Hotel is fantastic the view from our room was fabulous all you could see was the coast line. There was a lovely comfortable atmosphere in the hotel. The check in and check out experience was very easy Our room was a lovely big room very clean and warm. There was very little noise at night so we had a good sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Breakfast was tasty and food was warm. We had dinner in the bar which was very good. I used the gym which is a little walk from the hotel but it was clean. We will be returning to the hotel again as we had a lovely stay."

"Downings is a wonderful village located on the Wild Atlantic Way . the jewel in it's crown is the Downings Bay Hotel, what a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the ambiance of the hotel and surrounding areas. It is right on the Tra Mor beach with it's beautiful golden sands that go for miles. The staff and facilities of the Hotel are amazing and nothing is ever a problem. Highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Donegal."
