This was our second stay at this hotel. Firstly I can't fault the staff. Friendly and all very helpful. Rooms We were in a junior suite again. Not worth the extra when you compare it to a deluxe double. You're paying for bathrobes slippers and a hair dryer. The balcony was big. We had a view of the back of the shops and restaurants. Not the best. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room itself was a bit shabby. Food The breeze restaurant has a lovely menu with plenty of choice. BIG portions! The buffet restaurant serves lots of lovely food. Breakfast was briliiant The only problem was lack of tables in the evening. Lots of tables used with dirty plates on. They need to employ more staff to clear in. Champs bar is good. Pub grub and guiness on tap. Always a bonus! Drinks We were all inclusive. Couldn't fault the drinks. Branded, and some of the cocktails were delicious Pool areas. The main pool for me was far too crowded. You're literally on top of each other. The other area with the glass pool was better but the decked area was poorly maintained. We saw a few people trip over. The Hotel public areas The corridors were filthy. When we arrived there were food bits and bobs on the floor, hair, spilt drink stains etc.. they were still there 4 days later. It takes minutes to sweep a corridor.. don't understand why this wasn't done? We did have a nice few days there but would i go back again? No. It was overpriced for what it was and disappointing really. If they maintained it more and cleaned it better it would definitely get more returning customers.

From the moment we arrived at this very stylish hotel,we were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco in reception. Booking in was made very simple for us, and our cases carried to our beautiful spacious room. Everything in the room, just like the rest of the hotel, was immaculately clean. Things that really stood out for us 1. The staff, outstanding, throughout our stay. 2. Food, plenty of choices for everyone, restaurants, cocktail bar, sports bar,all welcoming and stylish. Around the poolside each day we enjoyed a lovelly atmosphere. We certainly intend to revisit next year

Where to start . We booked our trip for my partners birthday , first I’d like to say a big thanks for the bottle of champagne that was delivered to our room from the hotel free of charge with a lovely note wishing my partner a happy birthday . The food is amazing with lots of choice and beautiful restaurants to choose from. Then the entertainment which was amazing with live acts most nights , I would like to put out a huge thanks to the 2 ABBA tribute girls , absolutely amazing , we wish them huge success . Our trip was so good we actually extended our stay by an additional 2 nights . Highly recommend this hotel and the all inclusive package . Thank you again to all the lovely staff . Billy & Iza

We couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Rooms were great overlooking the main pool very clean & comfortable bed was massive. All staff were very friendly & could not do more for you. 3 restaurants on site tried both the buffet restaurant & Champs bar plenty of choice & food was amazing. Loved the pool area. Carmelo the lifeguard was so funny, full of life & very entertaining. Needed some pool entertainment/music on weekends though you really missed Carmelo on the weekend.

We felt confident when booking The barcelo teguise beach as I had stayed in other Barcelo hotels before and loved them. Unfortunately this one does not live up to the standards of the previous Barcelo hotels we have stayed in On arrival we were given a quick check in, no problem with that, but no complimentary drinks offered, although others checking in with a different reception person were offered this, also no information about the safe.. we struggled to use it then realised you have to pay for a key..! We were taken to our room, a junior suite, on looking around the balcony obviously had not been cleaned, dirty plates and pizza were on the side, the spare bed mattress in the room was badly stained. Shocked I went back to reception and quickly was offered another room, again we went in with good expectation but once again, a dirty room and badly stained mattress. My husband was ready to check out, but once again my third visit to reception a third junior suite was found and although did not reach my booking expectation it was clean and a nice sized balcony in a quieter area of the hotel, no view but better and clean. The food is good, the staff friendly, but the hotel itself is underwhelming. The corridors dirty, big hair balls around the stairs, a general tiredness to the place. The pools seemed to have too few sun-beds and a small area for these. Costa teguise was very windy, but sunny and enjoyable. I personally wouldn’t come to this part of the island again, it just seems a bit tatty compared to Playa Blanca.. but that’s just my opinion. Would I stay again in this Barcelona, no.. the food is good, the staff seem lovely but generally it needs better cleanliness, and a make over. I popped in to look at the Radison Blu while here and if you are looking for an adults only hotel in this area I would choose this over the Barcelo… it was brighter, and more modern than the Barcelo and I don’t think the prices are much different. On check out we were charged for the mini bar even thought we were all inclusive, once again we were not informed of this at check in and seeing as we could get the same drinks at the bar this really seems unfair.

Excellent 7 night stay. Comfortable room nice and peaceful. Great location. Good selection of food. Some of the food I found a bit cold but there is a microwave in the dining room, so was able to heat the food up. Only negatives I have are about the room, no place to hang long dresses in the wardrobe space, and no proper dressing table with a chair. All staff in dining area are pleasant, and welcoming. Housekeeping staff are excellent, lovely clean room every day. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Close to the beach. If you want to explore other areas take the bus no 3 to Porto del carmen was €5.90 for two adults one way. The same bus will also bring you to the excellent open mall shopping centre in Arceiffe. The cost of bus is €2.00 per adult one way. Recommend trip to volcanoes, we booked with the tour company located down the road from The hotel outside the back entrance at champs bar turn left and past a few restaurants and shops and he is located there . Also did a trip to playa Blanca market on the Wednesday was €21 pp. On the whole an enjoyable comfortable relaxing week away.

I visited the barcelo Teguise Beach adult only hotel again this August with my daughter for a week. I love staying at the barcelo Teguise Beach in Costa Teguise not only do I find the area really safe and quiet. Bit the staff at this Particular hotel are absolutely phenomenal. I am taken care of really well, and now I've been a few times the staff Recognise me which makes me feel even more safe. I normally go alone but I went with mu daughter and again the hotel is alway improving something. Always so welcoming and friendly nothing is to much. The management are fantastic I cannot fault anyone there. Its a lovely environment to be around from the pool entertainment to each staff chef and more. This is by far my favourite little spot. Always a pleasure barcelo. My second time in a few months Can't stay away x look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you for a beautiful stay. My daugher and I had a fantastic time.

Lovely hotel, the public areas were beautifully maintained and the pool area had enough sun beds for all. Food was great and the choice was excellent- probably the best we have had over the years. Rooms were good, although the furniture looked a little tired but perfectly functional - the air con was a little noisy but nothing that we couldn’t cope with - also our fridge was pretty poor but the one in our friends room was excellent so I think we were just a little unlucky. We had a lovely pool and sea view with our own hot tub- not really my thing but a nice touch all the same. The bed and pillows were superb - the comfiest bed I have ever slept in and absolutely huge - if I could have brought it home I’m would have. Entertainment was provided by Antonia (I hope I’ve remembered her name correctly), who made sure everyone was included if they wanted to be and she varied what she did each day - unusual activities such as arts and crafts, making cocktails, creating your own bath salts as well as the exercise class each day although she didn’t work the weekends. A lovely friendly girl who worked hard to chat to everyone. There was a dj on on Sunday but it was very much house music and it was very loud if you were unfortunate enough to be near to the speakers. They need to review the set up for this as my head was pounding by the end of the three hour stint - maybe place some speakers into the trees up and down the pool so the volume can be a little more appropriate for all and not blasting those close to the speaker whereas, the ones at the end of the pool not really having it loud enough. Not my cup of tea music wise but plenty of others were having a great time. My only complaint would be the lack of ability to buy a drink if you’re not all-inclusive. We went half board but you couldn’t buy a drink with cash and it was all charged to the room so you can’t control what’s on your bill. We are not a fan of that so we bought our own instead from the shop. I like to know what I’m spending and I know the prices were probably quite high compared to the bars around and without even a price list to look at, we chose not to buy from there. All inclusive upgrade was 35 euros each a day and I can honestly say that we didn’t spend nearly that each day on our drinks whilst out and about - the bars and shops are cheap enough and lots of them have entertainment on as well. The hotel provided entertainment every night but we like to go out so we never saw any. Hotel was on the sea front - once you walk out of the door at the back next to The Champs bar you were on the prom. I would go back and if all BARCELÓ hotels are of the same standard, I would stay in one quite happily x
