Love this hotel and everything about it. Have used previous reviews whilst speaking to other guests on what to use, or not. Reception was great when checking in, although I have asked them twice now to empty our fridge. We are not willing to pay the prices for items although we would still like to use the fridge for our own. Maybe it will be emptied before we leave although I am not willing to ask for a third time. Cleaners have gone the extra mile, even to the extent of getting us harder pillows. Breakfast has been great, and the service by staff impecible. Haven't used SEEN due to the poor reviews, but have enjoyed using local restaurants. Now for the bad bit and where the FOMO phobia comes in. The reserving of towels in a 5 Star hotel is just beyond me. Why individuals, sad to say mostly Brits, have to think they can reserve a sunbed is just obscene. They leave the towel there with their British book for hours at a time. All this does is potentially create an atmosphere where these individuals think it is their right to own a sunbed for the whole day whilst only using it for an hour or so. Hopefully reception will do something about it, even as far as getting a deposit for a towel, and removing it after an hour of no use. Such a shame and putting a slightly negative aspect to a lovely hotel in a great setting.
