Our kids had a flat with a small garden, which was very ideal as well.The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Every morning for the breakfast they came around and asked which coffee we wanted, especially one of the women just remembered our choice and brought it with a big smile. The breakfast buffet was so lovely. At night we enjoyed a glass of wine in the patio, and that was very cozy as well. We enjoyed our stay here very much."

"Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by Federica, immediately very kind and helpful, not having booked one of the 4 parking spaces in front of the hotel in advance, she immediately took care, together with the owner Massimo, to reserve a place for us from the following morning. The room, with a balcony, overlooks the valley, giving you a wonderful view. The hotel is a little dated, but well-ordered and clean, all the staff, do their best to ensure that your stay is comfortable and pampered. Yes, we felt at home and there is no doubt that in the event of a return to the area, it will be our point of reference. The little things are those that together with the rest, remain in your mind: the first morning my wife asked if there was a kiwi... from the following morning they brought two to the table. Customer care is their priority. There is no doubt! The staff is welcoming and catered to every request for dining suggestions and arranged reservations for several evenings while we were there. The grounds are well maintained and almost beg you to walk among the trees and the vineyard. After a long day of exploring the Tuscan hill towns of the region, this was the perfect place to return to, and sit in the garden with a bottle of their own wine and relax. And most importantly-wonderfully quiet for a good nights sleep before off exploring again the next day after enjoying a good breakfast in the garden."

"This has to be a 5 star stay. We initially chose Locanda agli Amici as they had an outdoor pool whilst walking distance into Cortona Town centre. Both were big ticks as there aren't many accommodation options in Cortona with a pool and we wanted a place to relax and explore. The views from here are beautiful and tranquil. The rooms were a good size and comfortable beds plus the breakfast was amazing - one of the very best we have come across in Italy. However the gem of this place is the hospitality. Silvia went above and beyond for us in terms of making our stay enjoyable and was very helpful to answer any questions we had at any point in the day. For the price, this place is an absolute steal and would recommend to everyone. "

"In the very center of Cortona, very suggestive and particular, the rooms are created from a wing of the church of San Francesco... very humble environments and rooms that reflect the place a bit. Negative note is that it is reported with the presence of air conditioning in the rooms, but the only thing present is an old noisy ceiling fan that does not cool anything, we spent the night sleepless due to the too hot"
