The positives included a clean room and ample parking. Negatives were very thin doors, minimal breakfast “go-bag” items, and front desk staff. Woken up at 11:30pm to loud, yelling people and a crying child. This continued on and off for 1+ hours - not fault of hotel, but being on first floor near lobby, front desk should have done something. This was a Thursday night, so not sure what was going on in a small town that night? Needed a very early departure and grabbed 2 breakfast on the go bags that we didn’t open til an hour on road. A hard bagel, cream cheese, an apple, and a bottle of water?? Worst I’ve experienced at a Hampton Inn.

We’ve stayed here before and enjoyed the property and it did not disappoint!! Really nice lady at check-in (didn’t catch her name) hotel itself is very clean and our room was great!! Nice and quiet and we actually slept in and almost missed breakfast! Breakfast was your typical Hampton fare but the breakfast lady was super nice and everything was nice and hot! Lots of restaurants close by and Mesa Verde is just minutes down the road!! Overall nice stay! Would recommend and we will stay again if we are in the area

Easy location. Clean and well kept. Close to food choices. All the things you expect at a Hampton were here. A definite good choice.

Booked a two bed handicapped accessible room. When I checked in online it showed my room as hearing accessible. I messaged the hotel to confirm. I was told my room was wheelchair accessible. I’m traveling with my 81 year old mom in a wheelchair so the room we reserved was necessary. When I got to the hotel I was again told my room was wheelchair accessible. When I got to the room it was not. I returned to the desk and told the, I needed the room I reserved. They were both helpful and professional. I was upset and told them so .. I also apologized to them because they were doing their best and it wasn’t their fault. They told me they were overbooked so they had to change my room. They didn’t feel it was necessary to inform me in advance. They also said if I left and stayed somewhere else I would still be charged even though the room was useless to us. After a bit they found a one bed wheelchair accessible room. I said that would be great. They just had to have the manager approve the change. They called the manager and he said no. He said I could just check out and they would refund my money. I could not believe the lack of customer service. I left and got the room I needed in Durango for 125 dollars more. Will not be back .

They refused requested special accomodations for disabled senior citizen after agreeing just before room was booked over the phone.
No manager was on duty or on call.
Very rude and patronizing.
No motivation to fix problem.
