Very nice and clean room with great break2

The only reason we stayed here was because they're pet friendly. Upon checking in, we were informed that the elevators were not working and we would have to take the stairs. We have two dogs and was lucky enough to still get a room on the first floor, which is their pet floor. Overnight about 20 cars got their windows smashed out. The front desk was quick to say that the electricity to the security cameras got cut, which seems odd. We will never stay there again and do not recommend this hotel.

My wife and I visit Memphis/Cordova frequently. This was our first stay at Comfort Suites Cordova, but it will not be our last. The comforts, amenities, staff, cleanliness, accessibility, and surrounding shopping access were all exceptional. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast nook was clean and easy to use. Our room was on the third floor, very quiet, nicely arranged, and the rates were very affordable. I especially enjoyed the front-desk staff. They were each one helpful, amenable, positive, and overall pleasant to be around. We will be staying at this location each time we visit in the future.

We stayed one night on our travels through town. We had a nice room that was comfortable with a king size bed. It was supposed to be handicapped accessible, but that was a stretch. The bathroom had one grab bar in the tub and none near the toilet. There was a shower seat that had to be installed inside the tub. The tub was not one that had a lowered side for easier access. There was minimal space around the sink to put toiletries. There was a laundry room on site, but we didn’t use it. It was not the best location; butted up behind Costco and IKEA and right next to the intestate. However, there were several trees to block road noise and that was helpful. The area did have a lot of stores and restaurants. Next time, I would choose a different location.

Security is lacking. We were pulling a trailer and the parallel parking was full. We were told to park by the pool. The clerk failded to inform us that a car had been broken into the week before in that area. We discovered our truck's passenger side window smashed and merchandize stolen from the cab. The policeman told us about the breakin the week before. The police also told us they couldn't identify anyone on the security tape because it was too dark. The security lighting is inadequate. In addition, there are 2 side doors on the hotel and both had signs posted saying no entry for security reasons. We found both doors propped open with objects. We were told the owner/manager would call us the next day. She did not call. Costco is beside this hotel and we noticed they had a security patrol car. Why don't the hotels do the same?

Valerie, the gentleman working with Valerie, the morning desk clerk (Lady), and Wayne were ALL Awesome!!!! They were super friendly, efficient, and helpful. I was very impressed with the staff and hotel. Great stay!!!!

This hotel is ok. It's convenient to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants and it was quiet, but almost everything else is just mediocre: staff, cleanliness, breakfast. Those things really didn't stand out as bad or good. I did like the fact that the room was an actual suite - with a door that separates the beds from the couch area vs. one of those useless half walls you sometimes get when a room is described as a suite. Every evening of our stay, when we got back to the hotel, there were 1-2 people outside smoking ****. At least we didn't smell it inside like some other reviewers here. I'm almost certain it's not legal in TN, but if you're going to do it, at least try and get edibles so you can consume it inside and nobody has to smell it across a whole parking lot. What's really bad here is the internet. It's AWFUL. I was in town with my fiance for a family function and I brought some work with me, needing to complete it our first night there. I couldn't do it because of how bad the internet was. It was a neverending cycle of buffering and then getting kicked off. I ended up taking my laptop to my fiance's relative's house and finishing my work up the day of the party. I don't expect amazingly fast internet in any hotel but this was probably the worst I've ever experienced. The pitiful internet is why I'm giving an overall rating of "poor" here. It really put a negative vibe on our stay. What should have taken 1 to 1 1/2 hours to do ended up being straight up impossible. I had to let my boss know that what he was expecting was going to be a day late and then it took time away from family the following day. It's 2022 - it's past time to look into getting a better internet connection for your guests.

GPS could not find the address so I phoned to get I-40 exit number. Rang and rang and rang, finally got the sound like I was connected to a fax machine. Ultimately found the property but I can assure you it is well hidden. When I asked to attendant about the phone problem he just said, "ooooops" and punched some button on the phone explaining that he forgot to change back to "phone" after sending a fax. No apology just "ooooops". Large clean room and as requested with shower and toilet grab bars although the shower bars are not really secure. The big weakness, and this is a shame as most everything else was good, is the breakfast. No eggs although there was a bain marie for them. No breakfast meat. No juice until we were almost finished with eating. No fruit. As we left she brought us some yogurt. We had coffee, toast and cereal. YUK! ! !

I use Choice Hotels as my go to hotels all over the country. I have never been so disappointed in a property as I am with this one. From the rude staff, dirty facilities, no hot breakfast (and they can’t continue to use COVID as an excuse anymore), and the final straw was no one at the front desk to check me out for over 30 minutes. There is no excuse acceptable. If you are expecting a better quality hotel, you will be sadly disappointed in this place.
