We went for lunch at the Chamois d’Or ‘s restaurant and it was simply superb. Well worth a visit. The food was excellent in a beautiful setting, service was friendly with the staff always trying to be helpful. Can’t say much about the hotel as we only went for lunch - but certainly can recommend lunch.

Our best hotel stay so far in 2023. This is a true alpine hotel with traditional decor and if you visit Alps this type of traditional family owned hotels and hospitality would add more joy to the visit. The hotel's dining room and bar with a Mont Blanc view was truly enjoyable. The food, drinks and services are memorable as well. This hotel is run by a friendly family. They have made every effort to make sure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The management and staff were truly respectful to their clients. Hope to visit this hotel in the future again.

What an amazing hotel! The owners (husband and wife) make you feel so welcome. The breakfast buffet is filled with freshly baked breads and cakes among the numerous selections. The views of the French Alps are incredible too. The airline lost my baggage and the hotel kept in touch with me even after we checked-out to report the airline had called to say they found it. Highly recommend this property.

What can I say? As a visitor from Canada who has never been to the Alps, this little gem could. Not have provided me with a better experience. The hotel is family run and you feel like a guest in their home. It is in a gorgeous location in the Alps with views that are out of this world. The hotel itself is spotless and filled with charm. There is a lovely lounge area inside with comfortable lounging area and an outdoor patio and pool area for relaxing. The restaurant at the hotel is superb and very well priced for such good food and attentive service. My room was perfect with a lovely view of the mountains behind. I can’t recommend enough and thanks for a lovely stay!

The most friendly, warm and charming hotel with incredible views of Mont Blanc. Caroline and Christoph and their team are incredible hosts. The food and service - superb! It really is just perfect in every way! I travel a lot all over the world and it would be hard to be the Chamois D’or for the feeling of being at home, welcome and spoiled!

Une vue et perspective depuis les chambres et la salle à manger époustouflante sur le massif du Mont Blanc telle qu'on peut l'imaginer pour un chalet de moyenne montagne verdoyante. Accueil au top, simple et chaleureux mais non ostentatoire. Excellent restaurant sans fioritures inutiles. Personnels discret mais très efficace. Accès garage avec borne de recharge pour notre véhicule électrique.

Quel bel endroit et quel accueil ! D'abord la Haute-Savoie, puis le village de Cordon, surnommé à raison "le Balcon du Mont-Blanc" , ensuite l'hôtel et son restaurant avec sa vue unique et enfin Caroline et son équipe ! Vous êtes accueillis avec le sourire et vous vous sentez tout de suite super bien dans cet hôtel familial qui fête cette année ses 60 ans d'existence. Si vous y revenez , c'est alors en amis que vous serez attendus. Vous trouverez à l'hôtel une superbe piscine, un terrain de tennis, un magnifique jardin avec des transats et un espace extérieur tout fleuri en été pour prendre l'apéritif ou le repas si vous le souhaitez. Les chambres ont été superbement rénovées et l'hôtel est un vrai 4 étoiles où se reposer en famille.

Tout était parfait. L'établissement a 60 ans et nous pensions qu'il était neuf ou entièrement rénové tellement tout est en état impeccable ! Propreté irréprochable, chambre et literie confortables, espaces communs très agréables et accueil chaleureux.
