Disappointed by the stay. Location wasn’t as central as I had thought. Breakfast simple but not worth the additional cost. Ceiling lighting fell down and could have caused a serious injury. Asked for 5am wake up call and didn’t receive call until 5:15am.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel in July 2025, where I booked a Standard Room. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.
The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. One of the standout features was the beautiful, warm pool that provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring and metro station is 5 minutes walk.
Overall, I would rate my stay at Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel a solid 9/10. The combination of excellent service, clean accommodations, and a relaxing pool area makes it a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Soooo nice! Absolut cool Down, the atmosfair was so relaxing, the room, the produkts and the pool, sauna, damp bad. We Will come back soon

A serious surprise. Very cozy atmosphere. The hotel has a rustic and nature-friendly feel, and all of this has been elegantly highlighted. Clean and tidy. Good location from where we could get to all places of interest either on foot or by bicycle. Breakfast was very high quality and delicious. The shampoos, conditioners, creams and oils in the rooms were very pleasant and good. All the staff were very helpful. We have traveled a lot and this is definitely one of our TOP 3 hotels. We will definitely go back here. PS! And very good cocktails in bar :)

This is our second visit here. We love the hotel. Fabulous rooms, great pool and saunas: steam room. Great food and first class service. Easy to get into the centre from this quiet local area. What a find!

Best hotel experience! been to 3 different gullsmeden hotels now...and always leave wanting moore. The hotel has calming atmosphere, always good service and gives you a cosy, soothing feeling. Hands down my favourite hotel chain ♥️

I have stayed here for years. Guldsmeden feels like “home away from home”. Just because of this the fridges on each floor are important to me. Free soft drinks as well as a place to store personal light snacks. I already missed the “honest bar” with wine but now they are totally shut down. This was a total disappointment 🤥
