The Pink Hotel Coolangatta ★★★★
"Tamara was beyond kind, helpful, happy, beautiful vibe perfectly suited for this unique hotel"
Mantra Coolangatta Beach ★★★★
"The Mantra is in a great location, right across from the beach, close to restaurants, shops etc. The unit we stayed in would’ve been a nice unit once upon a time but it’s in need of some maintenance work and a good spring clean. The bedroom window in the main bedroom was very dirty and had lots of cobwebs as well as dirt on them. The curtains were also broken at the end in every bedroom too. The sink in the ensuite had a blocked drain so every time you used it it filled up with water very quickly as is was a very shallow basin, there was a black ring of mould around the plug hole which could be cleaned with a bit of bleach and a brush. The cutlery drawer in the kitchen was filthy too, seriously it’d take ten minutes to clean the tray in the drawer. There was a lot of dirt on the ceiling in the living area as well as on the balcony ceiling as a glass panel at the end was filthy, obviously never been cleaned. For the price it was a bit of a ripoff I feel."
Iconic Kirra Beach Resort ★★★★
"The staff were lovely and the location was beautiful everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable, great surf right on the doorstep and plenty of great eateries in walking distance. Seems to be some issues with parking bay allocation but overall was an excellent get away, will be going back soon."
X Kirra Apartments ★★★★
"BAD SERVICE PROVIDED by this hotel. No flexibility exercise in this hotel. As I made a wrong date of my booking, cannot change the date and no refund. I knew that it was my fault but really feel bad and disappointed for the case handling. Staff are not helpful so they won’t/cannot help you if something happened."
Oaks Gold Coast Calypso Plaza Suites ★★★★
"Unfortunately the one bedroom we stayed in was not up to standard. It had the previous persons rubbish in it and the hand towel and 2 pillowcases were dirty. We also saw small ants but thought nothing of and killed them off…… We got those replaced, but woke up to the kitchen floor saturated. Worked out the fridge was leaking. Maintenance came and said there is nothing they can do, they have always had trouble with it. So we were given extra bath mats to soak up the floor. Went to cook breakfast… got the frying pan out. It was disgusting. Back to the ants… woke up the next morning to hundreds of ants on the kitchen bench, inside cupboards and into the bin. Lucky nothing was left out or open. Again went to reception and were given extra bin bags and some bug spray. Very disappointed considering how much i paid."
Reflection on the Sea ★★★★
"My husband and I had a wonderful few days stay at Reflections on the Sea. We stayed in unit 703 which has recently been upgraded and having stayed here before (we usually like to request the same unit) it looks so much fresher. The unit has all that you need for a comfortable stay, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer in the laundry cupboard and 2 en-suite bedrooms. It’s conveniently located right across from the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants. It’s an easy, flat 15 minute flat walk to Siblings, a lovely restaurant at Kirra and Franc Jr’s pizza is 5 minutes down the road in Griffith Street which has the best pizza in town."
Kirra Surf Apartments ★★★★
"Garden view was nice. Although, the umbrella base did not fully support the base - quite woobly and could not sit outside under the umbrella. The pool was undergoing repairs - only down side. Otherwise , beds were comfortable. The lounge chair only one and was uncomfortable - did not support large family. Recliners would be great for more comfort. Friendly managers, lovely area. "
Reflections Tower Two ★★★★
"Just loved it.."
Blue C Coolangatta ★★★★
"Very convenient location. Room is well maintained and facing the beach which just cross the road you are there. Surely will stay here again next time."

Beach House Seaside Resort
"The Classic Holidays Beach House Resort is in a fantastic location, and we always enjoy staying there. The onsite amenities and activities really enhance the holiday experience, and the Beach House staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and professional. Our unit had a wonderful view, great patio areas, and was very clean and well maintained. We also love the convenience of the restaurants located on the ground floor of the Beach House building. It’s perfect for those times when you don’t feel like going far for a meal, or when the weather isn’t ideal. The Coolangatta Surf Club, just across the road, is another excellent option for drinks and a great meal, with its spectacular beachfront outlook. I would definitely recommend Coolangatta as a place to stay, and there’s no better base for your holiday than the Beach House."
Pure Kirra
"First impressions were fabulous. The view is to die for but a couple of reasons why I would not come back is - first the lift opens straight into the apartment which seemed great until on Day 2 when I was sitting in the lounge room in my pyjamas when the lift opened and a stranger walked in. He apologised and said "oops wrong apartment" and left. The next day I used my swipe to my apartment on level 3 and it opened up onto an apartment on level 2. I reported both instances to reception who were not helpful, to say the least. They said maintenance would come next week. This is not good enough. This lack of security is one reason I would never recommend his property. Secondly there is a note in the apartment and I was sent the information via email prior to arrival advising that if we inadvertently set the fire alarm off we would be charged for the fire brigade call out ($1500). We were told to ensure the exhaust fan was turned on when cooking (which I would always do regardless). This includes when making toast. If this was to set off the fire alarm I would refuse to pay the fine due to the exhaust not being able to cope with a toaster."
Ocean Plaza Resort
"Ocean Plaza Resort, Coolangatta We’ve been staying at Ocean Plaza Resort, Coolangatta for over 5 years and keep coming back for the unbeatable location it is the standout feature—right across from the beach with sweeping ocean views, and only a short walk to shops, cafes, and the Surf Club. It’s hard to beat the convenience of being able to step straight out to the beachfront or grab a meal without needing the car. The apartments are spacious and well-equipped, with full kitchens and laundry facilities, which makes it easy for a longer stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The ocean-facing balconies are a real highlight, perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink while watching the surf & even Whale! The resort facilities are solid—there’s a large pool, spa, tennis courts, and secure parking. Families will appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, while couples will enjoy the quieter side of Coolangatta compared to Surfers Paradise. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or provide local tips."

Carool Holiday Apartments
"Stayed on the top floor and had the most amazing views. Very large open living area with the best northerly aspect overlooking rainbow bay up to surfers paradise. We had plans of Strolling to nearby surf clubs and restaurants for dinner. The view from our unit was too good so we ordered dinner in one night and enjoyed prawns and nibbles the other. There was not one moment when there was at least a few whales splashing around and putting on a show. Tina the manger was super accomodating and friendly. Can not fault this place. We have already booked a week next year. Highly recommend this place and a unit closer to the top if available."
Beachcomber International Resort
"Awesome place. Brilliant staff. Close to everything. Restaurants are all so close. Walking tracks are amazing. People are all friendly. This place is the best on the Gold Coast for families. The beachcomber is second to none. Great undercover car parking (although should be allocated to rooms for owners of time share)"
Club Wyndham Kirra Beach
"Worst experience. rooms with a bath only have a child sized bath - an adult does not fit at all but my real concern was when parts of the shower were so old a rusted they collapsed very nearly seriously hurting my 11 yo boy. Maintenance said "they are over 25 years old it is expected". Also they have built up the resort but still only have 2 lifts - that are nearly always full from staff as they have no separate one for them. not great planning and run down and dangerous. I do not recommend"
Kirra Palms Holiday Apartments
"Absolutely perfect. Location is 30 seconds from beach, dozens of cafes etc nearby. Our place was spotless when we arrived, all equipment worked, plenty of space inside and overlooked the pool. The staff were first class. Highly recommend this place"
