We have just stayed a couple of nights at the Bluebird Lodge. This was our second visit. Tracy and Michael were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent too. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this splendid place and we really recommend anyone to stay here. Ideally situated in Coniston and you definitely won't be disappointed.

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 night stay with Michael & Tracey - my only regret was that we weren’t there for longer! From the warm welcome upon arrival to the fond farewell on departure we were made to feel so welcome, and our room was lovely, absolutely ample for the 2 of us and our wee pooch. Add in the absolutely fabulous location and SENSATIONAL breakfast (which also comes with the bonus of the amazing view!) and I couldn’t recommend Bluebird Lodge more highly!

We were greeted by Tracey at our check in time and had a lovely warm welcome. The room was perfect, a very comfortable bed and a selection of amenities. Breakfast was delicious, a good choice on offer and was tailored to individuals wishes. Michael and Tracey ensured we were well looked after and were very approachable. They go above and beyond to help guests get the most out of their stay and even printed off the most current weather report ahead of our trip up the Old Man of Coniston. We would 100% stay again. Thank you .

Each time we’re in Coniston visiting family we try to stay at different places and do this time it was the Bluebird lodges and apartments and we was not disappointed, Tracey and Michael were soo nice and could not do enough for us, we started each morning with a full English, the room was very clean and Cosy but the view up the old man from our room was another level, will deffo be staying here again in the future and it was lovely to meet you both

Great welcome, very very comfortable bed and a brilliant breakfast. My room was very clean with excellent facilities. The Breakfast Room gives fantastic views of the fells, acrobatic squirrels and the local bird life, with Michael and Tracy being great hosts. Bluebird Lodge is only 5 minutes from the village centre, which is the cherry-on-top item of this lovely lodge.

We had a lovely weekend break staying at the Bluebird Lodge. Breakfast was fantastic - great choice and great food. The bed was comfortable. We had a good nights sleep. The room was cosy. The lodge is half a mile from Coniston, so was a short walk into town without the hassle of finding a parking space. There is also a pub across the road with good food and beer for lunch or evening!

2 night stay. The room was large with good sized bathroom. I made an error and accidentally booked for one person instead of 2 but this wasn't a problem for the owner. It's a short walk from Coniston but not really a problem. Parking on site. I am up at 5.30 every day, so was going to have a lie in and miss breakfast, so the owner suggested a packed breakfast which was a nice touch. Would recommend.
