Front desk staff was great. Room was very clean. Shampoo and lotion very nice as was the breakfast

Just left, as no way was I gonna attempt to stay my 16th-18th stay. Issue started with the TV channels [dialogue] are coming out in Spanish, {like last time I stayed, and they said it was just an oversight, from the previous guest, in the room, - the hotel forgot to change the TV back. ~ That now was obviously not true ~ their sports channels are flat-out set to Spanish ... And HBO channels} ... Lady in the hall didn't want to do anything about it, when I said "This has to be fixed". - She got all confrontational - Said 'how dare you speak to me like that' ... "You're interrupting my task; I'm doing hall duty I'm not even supposed to be talking to you!" I stopped the argument, and went down the hall and out the back door - to come around to the car and tell my wife we're leaving. Went back in, made a video of the room (including recording the TV) came out dropped the two keys and told the manager why we're leaving. ➡️ If you're a person clocked in, working at a hotel, there is NO SUCH THING as you shouldn't be speaking to me. I am the customer. I was still walking down the hall (to go out and around to my wife in the car), not quite to the door and I heard the woman [up the hall] say, to the Manager "Oh my G@D did you hear how that man spoke to me??" - Presumably trying to get me thrown out of the hotel. No chance in he!! I'm waiting around for that.

The hotel is 3 minute walking distance to Texas Roadhouse. (And a couple of other eateries. )The room was as basic as they come. Beds were small but comfy but the carpet smelled like it had been steam cleaned and left damp. The room was musty. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked great. Lots of hot water and pressure. Noise from the highway was really loud. Earplugs were a must. Give breakfast a miss unless you want toast or a waffle. The eggs were watery and tasteless and the bacon was weird. Coffee was good though. #1 complaint: there are ZERO usb points anywhere. We had each brought chargers but no plugs because we’ve never been anywhere that didn’t have them. We had to charge our phones in the car. That’s on us though, lesson learned. If you need a place to sleep and shower it’ll do. We were there for supercross Friday and Saturday but ended up leaving after the race and driving the four hours home rather than stay the second night. Staff was super friendly.

This hotel has potential. It requires a deep cleaning as the walls of my room had stains and unknown liquids on them. The carpet smelled old and mildew. The curtains haven’t been washed in a long time. I will say, it is a convenient location.

Room smelled like laundry left in the washing machine too long. Breakfast options were very limited as nothing had been restocked. No milk for the cereal was out. No jelly for toast. Refrigerator for milk and yogurt was empty. No fruit.
