Nice and practical hôtel, well located for Contra Costa. However needs an overall refreshment and windows renewal. There was a hot water problem during the stay, which was solved in a day. Parking fee 20$/day

As a Diamond member I expected more; (3 day stay Aug 2025) 1. The front door was being rebuilt, no concierge available you had to find luggage cart and push it from car to ballroom side entrace across length of hotel to front desk. 2. No HHonors check in line. 3. No Executive floor or lounge. 4. Got upgraded to top 11th floor, however corner rooms' a long walk from elevators, shower water pressure was low, A spider lives behind the bath mirror. 5. Bed and pillows comfortable. No daily service you have to schedule. 6. Spa was broken and yellow taped. No mention of it being down on Hilton site before booking. (nor closed front door and executive lounge) 7. I got 2 x $15 per day for Diamond meal credit. 8. Unable to get room service , nobody answered Creekside dining to place breakfast takeout order. 9. Pool & Gym was ok and clean. 10. Front desk has no cash, must goto Creekside to break $ for tips. I had stayed at the brand new Hilton Garden Inn Walnut Creek the previous 3 days. I should have stayed the entire 6 days there!

How is this rated a 4 star hotel? Nothing ever works - the safe, the lighted mirror, etc. the pillows feel like they’re stuffed with recycling. Blobs and chunks. The sheets are scratchy and the towels are like what you might expect to be handed if you check into a $20 youth hostel. We have family nearby and have been here countless times and it just never gets better.

Went up for my wife’s 60th high school reunion. Hotel did a great job accommodating the reunion and food and beverage service was outstanding throughout a memorable evening. Thank you. Hilton Concord is an older property and still going through some minor renovations. Our room was on the 9th floor. Very quiet throughout our stay. Only construction noise is on the main floor away from guests and that noise was minimal. Had a nice breakfast at the hotel restaurant two out three days. Bit expensive but then most in house restaurants are. Bar off the main lobby was nice and convenient with skilled bartenders. Mixed drinks run about $17 each. The indoor courtyard is an excellent place for a large group meet up. Across the street are numerous outdoor malls with dining, entertainment and shopping options. Except for the reunion dinner, we ate across the street in the evenings. Felt safe. 24/7 guard on main entry. Card used for rooms also required to go up on the elevators. Keeps the riff-raff out. Gated parking (you will pay extra for that, but we got the AAA discount). The parking lots are in poor shape and need resurfacing and repainting. Hard to tell if I parked inside the lines or not. Easy access of the major highways. There is a path in back of the hotel, but I recommend avoiding that. Some transients seemed to be living there; although, we only saw one during our stay. Still, the path gives off a bad vibe. All Hilton Concord staff that we encountered were professional and courteous. Great job! Did not use the pool or gym but they looked to be in great shape.
