We took a Family suite which consisted of 2 rooms and were very satisfied with it. Very polite and helpfull staff.

The first few pictures on Ctrip are not this hotel. The hotel has no air conditioning, only fans, and it happened to be very hot on the day we checked in. The family room is quite spacious, with two bedrooms and a living room. The hotel parking lot is relatively small, but there is a large open-air parking lot across the street for 9 euros a day. There is no kettle in the room, but you can get free water from the coffee machine in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. There is a large supermarket within a 5-minute walk. It opens at 8 am and I bought breakfast for four people for 11 euros.

房間雖然不大，但是非常乾淨整潔，離火車站比較近，出行方便，離貢比涅城堡也近，附近還有個非常好吃的麪包店，房間內千萬別吸煙，我們住的時候碰到消防警鈴大響，去前台一問原來是有人吸煙促發了警報，消防車都來了，非常嚴格。

Très bon séjour. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse formidable, à l'écoute et souriant pour répondre à nos demandes.
Un décès nous a fait partir plus tôt que prévu et la compréhension de ces personnes et du directeur nous a fait du bien.

We spent the French national holiday night at the beautiful Alfred Hotel. A very nice and spacious double room that felt newly and very carefully renovated. Calm hotel very close to the city centre and old parts of the village, which offers many restaurants, bars and cafes. Hotel staff an absolute highlight, that helped us resolve a booking error (mixed up dates) elegantly - a situation that otherwise could have become very stressful because of the national holiday, time of day and availability of alternatives. Very well done! We are so happy to have paid Compiègne a visit! If you, like us, have not been here before you should definitely check it out. And stay at the Alfred Hotel, which we warmly recommend.

The hotel is very central located a few steps from central bridge crossing of Compiègne. It has a small reception and a big breakfast room where you can sit during the day an sip courtesy coffee. The room on the 4 floor was big enough with a nice bed, several pillows in different sizes and a convenient bathroom. It had only one window which was not so convenient. The street side is a bit noisy so we slept with a closed window. It lacked of air conditioning but included a Dyson fan. I am not sure if this is enough for a very hot Summer night. The hotel has own parking but very close there is a big parking lot along the river Oise. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh juice, good coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, croissant etc. I can say it was delicious.

An hotel within easy walking distance from the railway station, offering modern style rooms with good bedding and bathroom facilities. The breakfast room is fine with the usual large spread as is now common in France. The staff were welcoming and offered to take my case to the 3rd floor. There was no lift when I stayed! The Château and gardens are certainly worth a visit. For those who like history visit La Clariere de l'Armastice, a 30 minute bus ride away. Best local restaurant is adjacent to hotel.
