Hotel Alda Camiño Inglés ★★

"The hotel is well located in the village, next to the town hall square and the main road that runs from A Coruña to Santiago. The facilities are average, with small bathrooms that could use some improvement. The beds and mattresses are acceptable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, providing information about the hotel, its services, and local attractions. It's a bit noisy, especially when guests start shouting in the hallways. There aren't many other options in the area. It's a shame the weather wasn't good and that it's a bit out of the way from the English Way (Camino Inglés)."

"We went to dinner with a large group of friends. The owner, Antonio, made us a menu with things that all liked. The food was very rich and the very cozy place. We took sherry, varied tapas and the wine was a very rich river too. It's a great place that we will certainly go back. There's a place to park. I recommend it."

"We stopped here on the Camino Ingles for morning coffee and ended up with freshly squeezed orange instead. The service couldn't have been nicer - we were offered almond tart free-of-charge. Both the lady and her son spoke to us in good English, very impressive and the sort of place we'd happily return to for an extended stay."

"Hotel was economical, clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the staff spoke English and were very helpful giving us advise on local knowledge and the cleaning lady even sewed a button on my shirt for me. Would definately recomend"
