"What an excellent place to stop off when driving to or from the ports of northern Spain, especially If you’ve got dogs. Easy to find just off the AP68, amazing grounds fenced safe and extensive. Restaurant more a cafeteria but attentive caring humorous service. Friendly staff and excellent value huge portions simple spanish food. Lovely local wine and nice cold beer. Rooms comfortable enough with bath and shower, air conditioning and a little fridge. Ok so rooms are a little tired and need some tlc but it’s a huge building this will be an expensive job. Dogs absolutely loved the grounds for a morning and evening run. Next time I’m staying for longer to take in some or the numerous nearby bodegas and mooch in town only 500m away."

The breakfast is nice enough but is in a school canteen/ hospital type room. The place is very basic and has no warmth or niceness about it. I think if it was a 1 or maybe 2 star then fair enough but 3 is very generous! There just be lots of better options in this lovely city."

"Food could be improved, first day Riojan potatoes which were potatoes with broth and paprika, second day a thigh roasted on top and half raw on the bottom, something tart with jam on top. Vegetable dinner, I think it was all green beans and little else without fixing, tasteless and tasteless, for the second they told us that it was salmon and it was reheated salmon trout, very dry and releasing the drool in passing, dessert plain natural yogurt. Second day they have made the same broth as yesterday's Riojan-style potatoes, they have added some jars of chickpeas and the same chorizo from the potatoes and according to them they have not given Riojan-style chickpeas, for the second a frozen cod, with Orlando tomato on top and heated in the microwave, dessert a kind of flan with bread that was not bad and well the detail of putting spray cream to accompany it is good. At night for dinner they had a vegetable puree with croutons that was good, for main course they brought us some loin steaks with peppers and potatoes that were a bit dry but could be eaten, for dessert orange. Third day of eating, first they gave us a very complete mixed carrot salad, an envelope of floret of different types of lettuce, 1 boiled egg, an asparagus, a little tuna and tomato. For the main course, a stewed meat with potatoes that was not bad at all, for dessert a glass of ice cream. For dinner that day, first a noodle and vegetable soup with huge pieces of carrot, onion and even tomato seeds, and secondly a hake in green sauce that was frozen and still cold inside, with the green sauce on top without The hake had absorbed the flavor of the sauce and the clams, which were mostly empty, were good as a decoration for a mandarin dessert. Breakfasts for the 3 days, coffee, Colacao and infusions, York cold cuts, sliced cheese, croissants, toast, crushed tomato and juice. The bad thing is that you had to be smart because if something ran out they wouldn't replenish it being a buffet. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, with daily service, the worst part was that the air did not work properly, the bathroom smelled so much from the pipes that you had to close the door and put the plugs in the sink because it smelled horrible. Otherwise comfortable room, Smart TV, telephone in the room to talk to reception, hairdryer in the bathroom and hand and shower soap dispenser which is appreciated. Pool with green water that overlooked our window through which if you left it open mosquitoes from the green water would enter. Right in front there are telephone antennas that do not comply with the regulations since they must be more than 3 meters high, so they are not there and the angles of their antennas surely invade parts of the rooms. The service in the restaurant is often borderline, but it is understandable to leave just one person to serve 50 people for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in addition to the bar and potential customers who come in, as it will burn anyone out."

"We stayed one night at this hotel on the Camino de Santiago. We were welcomed very nicely by the receptionist who helped us complete all the necessary paperwork and we went online to register for some form of police registration. The room was clean and well appointed. The shower was okay. We had a good night sleep. Breakfast in the morning was at a nearby café and was a traditional Spanish breakfast. It was good. The hotel is based in the centre of town and is very convenient for bars and restaurants in the old town. A good stop off on the Camino de Santiago."

"Lovely hotel in the old quarter of Logroño. Parking is available in the nearby Espilon parking. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a Junior suite which was a lovely surprise. The room was huge with absolutely everything you could want. It was also very quiet considering we were in the middle of the old part of Logroño which is teeming with cafes and bars. The breakfast was superb with so much choice. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel"
