Natura Resorts ★★★
"A real surprise! The villas are perfect inside and out, all very new. The pool area has a shaded bar with high counters, where you'll want to relax for a while with a nice cold beer. The breakfast is very complete and good. The best thing is that they make coffee in a coffee maker if you order it even if it's in a thermos; a very appreciated detail. The best part is the staff, especially Miren at reception, who provides everything you need without losing her smile, and Sara at the cafeteria, who always makes sure everything is included in the buffet. We will return soon, and more than once."
Santa María Briones ★★★★
"The front desk staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful."
Hotel Alda Malvasía ★★
"The good points… 1. Very spacious and clean rooms 2. Huge double bed. The bad points… 1. Arrive after 15:00 and the hotel doesn’t have any staff, all bookings have to me made on a machine in the foyer, an extremely clumsy machine using outdated technology. The ‘remote’ staff are friendly but it’s a really difficult and tiresome task! 2. The hotel’s website is also very clumsy and again old technology, we gave up trying to check-in online after 45 minutes! 3. The car park is badly laid out, you are allocated a numbered space but only 6 of the spaces are actually numbered! 4. No instructions about how to use the WIFi and no one to ask! They have replaced real staff with cheap low grade technology and it’s appalling"
Hotel Plaza de La Paz ★★★
"Improved location. Clean and clean room. Careful and friendly staff. To repeat every time you go through the area"
Hospedería Señorío de Casalarreina ★★★
"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. The breakfast was very rich and very complete, with quality products. And the best of all, staff: super friendly, careful and always ready to help with a smile."
Hospedería Palacio de Casafuerte ★★★
"Hospederia Palacio de Caseafuerte is a beautifully restored, family run palace, nestled in the small town of Zarraton. The setting, very calm and peaceful, provided a perfect environment from which to launch our trip across Spain. The family is friendly, kind, helpful and committed to excellence in everything. The common spaces, rooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed. The grounds provide an expansive common space. Breakfast is unmatched - in addition to the usual items found in a Spanish breakfast buffet - meats, cheeses, fruit, breads, coffee, tea - the orange juice is fresh squeezed and eggs are made to order, any style. The bodegas of Haro were just a short drive as were other, larger towns in La Rioja. The family was always helpful in as we planned our outings from the hotel. We will visit again. Honestly, there was nothing we did not like. Everything surpassed out expectations."
Eth Rioja ★★★
"The hotel is quite new and although it is located in an industrial estate, it has a very nice restaurant below. It is comfortable, the room was huge and the breakfast was adequate. The staff was pleasant but the bathroom had a run on the bathtub and the toilet bowl, the plastic part was scratched and worn which gave the impression of being dirty (although it was not) and did not make you want to sit there."
Hotel Villa de Ábalos ★★★
"This charming family hotel was the highlight of our road trip around Spain and France. It's a wonderful, quiet, comfortable, and pretty hotel in a small village where we were met with a warm welcome - and a welcome drink. The views from our bedroom window were amazing, and the food was the best we had during our 2-week tour. Just 2 min walk from the hotel is a delightful family winery (Solana de Ramirez Ruiz) where we had a very enjoyable tour and tasting."
Iraipe Haro Auto Check-in ★★★
"Very good hotel, with a good location, very clean and no parking problems."

Palacio de los Angeles La Rioja
"This past weekend my husband And I had the immense pleasure of staying here. Literally just-opened the 5* Palacio de Los Ángeles, in Rioja's wine hub, Haro. Set in an authentic and absolutely gorgeous, Baroque 18th century palace (complete with coat of arms) in the heart of Haro's old town, it's steps from everything (the wondrous cathedral of Haro, Michelin * Nublo, fabulous tapas bars)- not to mention only a 15 minute walk to the mythical Barrio de Estación (Roda, Gomez Cruzado, Bilbainas, Muga..). When we decided to visit, we expected them to have at least some teething issue (I mean, it's only open under a month ago). But I have to say that this hotel is already nailing it! From the super friendly, multilingual valet who greets you on arrival, to the fabulous reception team (we particularly loved the two Martas, and all the lovely young men too whose names we did not catch), to the elegant and professional hotel manager- we felt like VIPs immediately 🙂 The room was gorgeous with THE most comfie bed, a cozy Mohair blanket from Ezcaray, Riedel wine glasses in the minibar (!!), elegant amenities, and a beautiful and soothing color scheme. The décor is very chic and stylish (à la Agatha Christie art deco) but extremely comfortable at the same time. Dining is overseen by the Two Michelin starred Echapresto brothers of @ventamoncalvillo and the selection of wines on the list, Armagnacs and stunning decanters was impressive. There is even a special and demure spa area with private, relaxing pool and massage space. And an outdoor pool and lounge bar. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. This one is a winner and just what the Rioja wine region needed."
Hospedería Señorío de Briñas
"We’ve stayed here a couple of times before and received the warmest of welcomes. A lovely building, super comfy beds and a great shower. A lovely stroll, out of the hotel turn left, then left up the bank to the seats for a great view with the Ebro beneath you. A bit of a scramble down to the river side walk to the Plaza Mayor and a couple of nice bars. Highly recommend!"

Wine & Soul Suites
"We stayed in the Reserva apartment. It was a great size, clean and the bed was comfortable. The washing machine also came in very handy after travelling for 10days. We never had an issue getting a parking space at the free car park down the hill. The location was great, just off the main square. We’d have no hesitation in staying again if in the area."
Palacio Tondon, la Rioja Brinas
"The hotel was in a nice location and the restaurant was very good the back patio along the river was a highlight the rooms were small but met my needs I appreciated the front desk help and the morning breakfast’s were excellent. My complaint was that It was impossible to take a shower and not flood my room. There is clearly a known problem that the hotel hasn’t bothered to take care of because I could see the rotted baseboards near the bottom of the outside of the shower from many previous floods. The wood was damaged and peeling away from the wall. They didn’t seem to care when I told them. It wasn’t nice that they didn’t tell me to be careful if this known issue when showering so I didn’t have to step out of the shower and use every towel in the room to mop up all the water."
Hotel Boutique Casona del Boticario
"Charming historic hotel within walking distance to town center. Delicious food all around. Lots of charm and historic beauty. Be advised of narrow windy roads that GPS cannot navigate well."
