Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus Airport

Never again! The hotel staff could not be found when we checked in. Had to look for her! Unbelievable. And when we tried to phone the front desk in the morning nobody answered. Frustrating. Will not return!

Easy booking

I had a very nice stay here. I was staying overnight to see Paul McCartney in concert. The hotel is so close to the airport that I actually chose to walk from the airport to the hotel despite there being a shuttle. I took the shuttle to the airport on my way home because it was raining. It came quickly, and the driver was lovely. You do need to take an Uber to get into town, but honestly, it felt like to get anywhere in Columbus, you had to do that, so I’m not sure it would have been much better if I’d stayed in town, and I also knew an airport hotel wouldn’t be in the heart of the action, so that’s fine. My room was a great size and very comfortable and quiet. The climate control worked wonderfully, too, which is a rare thing to say about a hotel! The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well. If I could make one suggestion to the management, it would be to please consider a dairy-free milk option at breakfast. As a vegan, I don’t expect there to be much for me at breakfast, but I had some decent choices I was happy with. So many people use dairy-free milk now, though, so I was surprised not to find any on offer. It’s a minor quibble, though. I strongly recommend this place.

We read the reviews prior to booking and were anxious about staying here. We experienced none of the issues reported. We were promptly checked in to our room on the third floor. The room was clean and we slept well. Doors are loud and they need to have a catch so they don’t slam. We had neighbors who let their door slam repeatedly Breakfast was standard FFI fare. The woman working kept it stocked up. Checkout was easy! No issues.
