Courtyard Columbus Worthington

Fairly standard hotel experience but a few issues made it so I won’t want to come back to this hotel again. There was some confusion when we arrived. Since it seems our Airbnb reservation didn’t go through properly. Which I don’t hold against the hotel itself. Most importantly the shower wasn’t cleaned. Tufts of hair all over the shower (wall and ceiling) with shampoo and conditioner completely empty. MGMT offered to move us to a new room, but our kids had were ready for bedtime so we chose not to. The pool was nice, minus the large floating clod of hair complete with a false eyelash. Not something that really impacted my review, but the microwave in the room only has French text on the buttons. 🤷‍♂️

Be aware, if you leave anything out in the room it may be gone when you return! The hotel itself was nice. Clean, fun little pool open 7am-11pm, friendly staff, clean rooms. Decent prices in the little store downstairs. However, we stayed here for Sonic Temple and at the festival, I had purchased a Metallica burger box that came with some special guitar picks. I decided to keep the box and the picks inside, as well as a few other pieces of memorabilia, for my dad because his health is failing and he might not ever get the chance to see them himself. I sat the box on the tv stand away from the trash one evening. The next evening when we returned, it was gone as well as a collectible cup we had rinsed and sat aside, despite us having the do not disturb sign on the door and the fact that all our trash was gathered and placed aside FAR AWAY from the items missing, so they should not have been touched. Nearly a hundred dollars of irreplaceable merch- GONE. Told the front desk and was merely told oops, sorry. I paid for my stay here, I paid for my merch, and apparently, paid to lose it as well. May never stay at another Marriott to be honest, this is ridiculous.

I literally just need a place to sleep for the night it was in a nice area and very quiet. Hotel clerk was nice when I checked in and checked out. Definitely would stay here again.
