Home2 Suites by Hilton Columbus Downtown

The location is somewhat sketchy. We did not feel safe walking in the streets at dusk. The closest business were pawn shops. I would never try another Home2, it didn't feel clean enough for me. On the good side, the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The best part about the stay was that they have a kitchen in the room. Fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, bowls, cutlery, and upon request you can even get a cooktop with skillet. Rooms are big and pretty. Only thing i missed is that they don’t have much options with vegetarian breakfast.

I had a great experience at this property. Room and common areas were kept clean, breakfast attendant in the morning was friendly and Bekah at the front desk was great! This was my second time staying here and will definitely stay again if I find myself back in Columbus.

Very close to Downtown Columbus. Clean and spacious room. Has a kitchenette. Great for families. Nice colorful decor .Convenient parking with low nightly fee. Noticed a grilling area outdoors. Check-in area can be made more clear . Bed was hard though. Overall great clean hotel for the price. Surrounding area seems safe and clean. Hilton hotel chain👍

This hotel was the closest to the medical center we had an appointment at. Walking distance just around corner. The room was beautiful, clean, & well stocked. Small kitchenette with dishes, towels, microwave, fridge & a garbage disposal. Bathroom has a pocket door, large shower with shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided. Plenty of towels. Bed was very comfortable, queen size. Drawers & closet for your clothing, as well as a sofa bed. Breakfast & coffee served in the morning. Big spacious dining room. We are considering using all Home2Suites for our travels.

All the other reviews mentioning parking are correct. Tip is when you see the sign for the hotel pull into the garage just before the sign . It’s tight up there so be careful. Staff were helpful explaining how to get in and out. Didn’t have any issues with noise but it was quiet Easter weekend . We ate at a local bar not ace but adequate there are quite a few within 3 mins walk. Rooms are clean and well equipped didn’t have a room with a kitchenette. Didn’t try the breakfast either as we wanted to push on with sour trip

The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable as was the pullout bed. We only were there for one night was we were attending a comedy show at the Southern theatre which was a few blocks down. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast had a good chose of food and it was kept very clean. If it was a longer stay the room has a nice size refrigerator, microwave, all the dishes utensils you will need and a dishwasher

My wife & I stayed overnight at the Downtown Columbus Home2 property along our drive to Pennsylvania, then another night on our way back home. I called ahead before our first arrival to clarify the customer parking location (after I chose to include the overnight parking fee in my reservation), so it was relatively simple to find the street level garage access from East Main Street (next to ground-level storefronts) that led us to the ramp up to the 2nd floor open-air lot behind the hotel. The front desk staff each time we stayed were friendly and helpful, and the hotel property is kept clean. The complimentary breakfast offerings were limited and average in quality, but the dining space was large & attractive & comfortable. The hotel location offers restaurant dining & bar/nightlife access within a few blocks, and we felt safe on our evening walk to/from South 4th Street for dinner. Our assigned suites on each stop were clean & well equipped. The queen bed in our 3rd-floor room the first night we stayed provided minimal support, while the 5th -floor equivalent room on Night #2 had a noticeably firmer mattress (maybe newer). Overnight traffic noise from East Main Street was noticeable, but not constant nor excessive (both suites were even numbered with a window facing Main). The only real annoyance was that our 5th-floor suite bathroom was equipped with a brand-new electronic toilet which had an automatic lid that opened every time either of us took a half-step into the bathroom space. Not sure why this appliance was chosen to be installed, but it seems more of a novelty than an amenity for guest purposes.

Great place. It's hard to find a hotel where there is seating for 2. Most hotels have 1 chair. This was basically, a mini efficiency. The bed was great too. The young lady at the desk in the morning was so helpful and accommodating. Easy access off the interstate, with a ton of choices to eat and shop.
