Home2 Suites by Hilton Columbus Easton

I will start by saying OUR STAY was perfectly fine. Our cars were not broken into, things went fine. However, both nights we stayed in the hotel and went out in the morning multiple vehicles were being serviced for having their windows smashed in. If it had just been the first night I may have written it off, but to have it be both nights of our stay and multiple vehicles I wouldn’t stay again. There was an unmanned security vehicle parked the first night, but was gone the second. And there was definitely more windows smashed the second night.

I saw the terrible reviews on the Homewood Suites on Google for car break-ins/smash and grabs, so I switched to this Home2 Suites instead. I had to be in Easton for work, so one of these two had to be it. The reviews here also seem to indicate break-ins are an issue, but we did not experience that at all. The man who checked us in was AMAZING. (Harry?) His personality was fantastic and warm. The hotel itself is new, built Dec 2024, and the property is perfect. Rooms are very clean, spacious, and there's loads of room to work and hang out in the room. Kitchens are well appointed, and the toiletries are nice. Towels were absorbent (but a bit small), and the sheets on the bed were fantastic. The mattress was comfy and the pillows were as well. The breakfast was great! Really nice offerings and some I've never seen on standard hotel breakfasts. I would 110% stay here again. It's close to Easton and the airport and the business parks nearby.

It was clear that this is a new hotel - so nice. Such good service, though it did take a while to get a key for our room. That seems to be an issued in Home2. The pool was great, though cold. Breakfast was wonderful.

Great stay Rooms and common spaces were clean and updated. Breakfast was better than most with lots of variety and options for different dietary needs.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! We stayed here in July 2025 for 5 nights,and 3 of those nights, cars got broken into. Theres was glass everywhere in the parking lot and the staff did a terrible job cleaning that up! There was a patrol car in the front of the parking lot which never moved. We asked the staff if they could get security to monitor the parking lot, which they did not do. We ended up doing our own patrolling and lost nights of sleep. This was absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I just called Hilton headquarters and they were very unconcerned with my complaints. We went on vacation to relax not to be fearful for our safety!

I wish I would have seen the reviews about 30 cars being broken into in June 2025. This also happened this weekend, 3 more vehicles that we know of had window smashed and items stolen. Including our vehicle. There is a “security” vehicle outside the entrance that was obviously not used since it had a flat back tire. When talking to the front desk she gave us a number to call and said “I just work here” the police did not come and we have called a ton of times today trying to get our vehicle added to the police report that was supposedly filed earlier that morning.
