Hyatt Place Columbus Polaris

This is the best (and cheapest) hotel in the area. The hotel located next door was extremely expensive and had a $250 incidental deposit. Here the staff was excellent, accommodating. I needed towels. They found me some in a generous and surprisingly expedient way.

The hotel was excellent. The hotel and the rooms were clean and the staff welcoming and inviting. I would definitely stay there again.

After combing through some pretty awful reviews found at MANY other hotels I came across this Hyatt. No regrets, none. Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly staff, comfy beds. Yup, this is the one you want in the Columbus area.

Hotel was nice till we got into the room. We had brown goop seeping out of the floor that wouldnt stop. Had to put towels down and leave it there to help with the mess.

I don't understand the mixed & negative reviews. We stayed here 2 nights. The front desk staff were all cordial and hospitable. The room was clean, spacious, comfy beds, had a small fridge, big screen tv, awesome shower, lots of hooks & hangers. Ample parking spaces. Lots of food places/restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great if you come down early, otherwise it seemed to be mobbed during the last hour and staff does not refill items (i.e. oatmeal) near closing. My only comment with Hyatt is they charge you $3.00 for that bottle of water in the room (they should just be left downstairs at The Market if you are charging guests for water). Water bottles in Marriott hotels are mostly complimentary.

The hotel is SO clean! Rooms get cleaned daily - AHMAZING!! And the area is super nice! I loved the walking distance to Starbucks and a great dinner next door!
