The presentation was awful front entrance appearance look dirty, Room furniture dirty and bathroom was not operating, and it look like the wall next to the bed was repaired but job was not finished, front desk notified about the toilet issue and was told by maintenance technician room was supposed to be out of order. They were fully booked and unable to accommodate king size bed room. Front desk to cancel my reservation without a cancellation fee since it was something out of my control.

this was a very impressive stay, all five Stars all the way around , Ms Melissa was amazing, and the entire Howard Johnson staff were amazing

To start off I'd like to say the staff was excellent. They were fighting an uphill battle with poor owners. They had a flood, the elevator was out of service. The alarms were going all night. There were cockroaches in our room, the ceiling was falling apart, someone either tried to light a crack pipe or start a fire with the hair dryer. I have pics. The room smelled like cigarettes and mold. The fire alarm was disabled and the television didn't work. I do not believe ANYONE has inspected this room in ages. It's disgusting. The staff tried to get a hold of the owners and they were unavailable. I will say again it was not the staff. This hotel needs to be taken off the ******* website as it's not fit for travelers. The pictures online are extremely misleading. This is the type of hotel that's rented by the hour.

We've stay several times. It's gotten worse each time.
Wanda at front desk was wonderful, and the only redeeming factor, but the good ended there.
Filthy carpet in walls.
Reels of pot in the halls so badly, that my wife got dizzy just walking to the car. Hallway ceiling had several spots with damaged/missing tiles and water dripping into buckets.
Room had no trash can, only 2 towels, wet and filthy carpet, noisy AC, missing light bulbs and broken fixtures, a couple of small roaches seen, fridge not working and smelly, no coffee supplies, no soap or shampoo, door lock kept failing, Damage to ceiling by cloths rack, slippery bath mat in tub - dangerous,
Entries to building not secure - no latches on one of them at least. Vagrants all over the property. People selling cars from parking lot, pool totally trashed and has been since before Covid.Fence around it is knocked down and poses a serious safety hazard.
Bottom line - this place should be condemned.
We will not stay here again.

The hotel is pretty run down. Some paint peeled off the ceiling in my room and the extractor was about to fall off. The beds were comfy enough but dont look like the ones in the picture. Its ok if you need a place to sleep

Bed improperly made, tub was filthy, bathroom fan falling out, no trash can, one wash cloth and two towels, no hand soap or shampoo, carpet in room and hall was sticky, one ice machine located on third floor, pool not useable, bedside lamp broken lose from support, some spilt substance on shelf, insect in room.

This place waa horrible. They didn't have my reservation! And no rooms were available. And i showed them my confirmation email. Terrible experience after a long day of travel. Luckily i found a different hotel with a room!
