Well managed resort with golf course and convenient location. Near the (FCA) Kalispell airport and Glacier National Park.

We have been owners at this resort since 2006, and it’s a beautiful place to visit year-round. However, we're concerned about where our high maintenance fees are being spent. None of the hot tubs were operational in the gym, recreation center, or Building 12. The gym itself is outdated, with a large tear in the weight bench and aging equipment. Lockers have been removed, so there’s nowhere to secure valuables, which deterred us from using the gym. Our condo was acceptable, but the outtake fans hadn’t been cleaned and were covered in dust. Additionally, the bedrooms' nightstand lamps weren’t plugged in, and we found the alarm clock under the bed. The bed is in desperate need of replacement. Once again, where are our maintenance fees going? It seems to us, that since Vacatia has taken over management, the general maintenance of the property has faltered, which is disconcerting.

We have been to Meadow Lake many times via the time share points. This resort is quickly going downhill since it was taken over by Vacatia Resorts. I would not recommend it to anyone. There were numerous problems with our one week stay. Where to start? We were in building 4. The fridge was leaking water in the inside and the bottom was full of water and ice and spilling over onto the floor. This poses a safety issue should someone slip from the water on the floor. As well the blind in the living room was broken and could not be let down. With the sun streaming in all day long the rooms were hot and stuffy. I went to the reception and was met with a young man at the counter who was not prepared to address any issues at all. He just stood there and stared at me. I asked to be referred to a supervisor and or manager and was told no one was available. I asked him to call someone who must be on call for dealing with issues over a weekend. I then asked to be transfered to another unit and was told the resort was 98% full. The young man was clearing not being truthful, as most buildings and the parking lots were empty with no lights on in most units. Maintenance was called and when the repair man came, he said this was an ongoing issue with the fridges in the resort as some part was not working and the resort was not fixing the issue. He basically said all the fridges are old and need to be replaice. The maintenacne man then asked us if we had extra towels to clean it up. I said no, I was not prepared to do the cleaning and deal with the mess. The resort did send housekeeping who wiped out the fridge. I asked about the blind and they just shrugged their shoulders. On the second day of the stay, the front desk called and offered to bring us a small bar fridge to use during our stay. I told them that a small fridge would not hold the food we had brought and had just purchased for the week. No other offer was made to address our multiple concerns. When we prepared dinner that night, all the dishes and pans we pulled out of the cupboards were dirty. I do mean dirty, with food particles on everything. We had to hand wash everything before we could use it. We soon discovered that the dishwasher was not working properly and the dishes seemed to come out dirtier, than when they went in. We tried to clean the filter and rinse aid dispenser which was totally corroded with crude. There were dirty black marks on the walls and which I have pictures of. The bathroom floors were dirty and seemed unswept. The master bathroom had a brown spot on the floor which I had to wipe up with a paper towel. The top of the baseboards and heaters were coated in dust. The shower curtain looked like it had never been taken down and washed since it has been installed and the bottom was totally discoloured.
