This newly renovated farmhouse has tons of amenities (including a stargazing BUBBLE TENT!), allows for you to curl up in cozy comfort, and is perfect for families. Conveniently located 19 min from Ricketts Glen, 20 min from Bloomsburg, and 45 minutes from Knoebels Amusement Park! Upon arrival you will drive down an old dirt/gravel road through beautiful farm fields and will possibly be greeted by a deer or wild turkey. The house sits on a 1+ acre secluded plot surrounded by mature trees and lovely farm fields; it is safe and perfect for the kids to run around on! There is a new deck overlooking the forest with an outdoor dining area and BBQ. There's also a fire pit equipped with outdoor lighting, recliner chairs, and a fully stocked S'mores station. And did we mention there is a BUBBLE tent with a telescope for stargazing? Stillwater is one of the best stargazing areas in all of Pennsylvania so whether you want to enjoy an hour looking up at the heavens or feel adventurous and want to sleep out under the stars (the tent is furnished with a queen bed), this is a unique opportunity you won’t find in many places! Inside you will enter into a comfortable, modern farmhouse living room equipped with couch, rattan chair, and streaming TV, which includes Disney + and Netflix among other channels (note: the Wifi is a bit spotty at times. Streaming can be slow but I work from home and have not had any difficulties with video calls.) The kitchen features an oven, stovetop, full-sized refrigerator, farmhouse sink, waffle maker, popcorn machine, dishwasher, and microwave as well as any cooking utensils you need to cook a proper meal. The coffee and tea station is equipped with a glass pour-over coffee pot, single-serve coffee machine, coffee grinder, and your choice of complimentary coffees and teas. Also downstairs you will enjoy a lovely 8-seat farmhouse dining table with a beautiful chandelier overhead. And finally, grab a good book or enjoy a cup of tea while taking in stunning forest views in the sunroom, which boasts a large daybed and hanging succulent décor. The second floor hosts three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom is decorated with simple farmhouse elegance and boasts a queen bed with memory foam mattress, microfiber sheets, and plush pillows. The second bedroom is astronomy themed and contains a queen memory foam mattress/pillows as well as microfiber sheets. The final bedroom houses 2 bunk beds and is perfect for children. With a whimsical firefly mural, children’s tent, star night light, TV with DVD player, and plenty of children’s toys, it is a space that is designed for both play and for rest. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible and offer the following amenities: • Memory foam mattresses for each queen bedroom. Overall there are 2 queen beds, 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds), and one twin day bed. An additional queen bed is outside in the bubble tent if you want to enjoy a night under the stars. • Microfiber sheets and memory foam pillows • A fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer and comfortable towels • Pour over coffee and tea station with Pirouline chocolate wafer sticks • Popcorn machine with popcorn • Box air conditioning units in dining room and both queen bedrooms. The other bedroom has a window fan that will keep the room quite comfortable. • Wifi • Keyless entry system • Large firepit with large outdoor seating and smores station • Deck with outdoor dining area • Lawn games, including badminton, cornhole, wiffle ball, and horseshoes • Foosball table • Bubble stargazing tent • Telescope • Children’s accessories (i.e. Pack N Play, toys, games) • Welcome trays The entire house is accessible for you, with the exception of the unfinished basement, which is locked. The grass yard and amenities surrounding the house are also completely at your disposal.
