Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbia

We stayed in a 2 queen room. Pros - Clean Easy and safe parking Comfortable beds Good light block out Complete control of thermostat Good shower pressure Cons - Our toilet seat was cracked so every time we went we got pinched in the a$$ Breakfast was less then desired Front desk was not the friendliest at our late night check in Front desk was not responsive to their app messages. When theh replied it disregarded the request. Overall - Since it was clean i would give it another try

I stayed 3 nights is a king room myself which was fine. Then 5 night my family joined me and we were in a different room. They got there about midnight exhausted. My daughter was planning to sleep on the pull out sofa. We pulled it out only to find a giant utine stain all over the mattress pad. It had clearly not been washed. We removed it and the whole mattress smelled of urine. We had to get the mattress switched at 1 am. We opted for every other day housekeeping. The second day we should have gotten it we didn’t. We asked at desk for fresh towels and let them know we didn’t get service. No apology or anything just “well it’s every other day”. We knew that we didn’t get service the day before either so it should have been that day. Cockroach in the shower. Pillows were lumpy. Need new ones. AC was terrible. It’s a wall unit and was by the sofa bed. To get it comfortable on the other side of the room you had to freeze out the person sleeping there. We stay at Marriott properties all over. We won’t be back to this one if at all possible.

All around great From checking in to accommodating several family members who stayed here this weekend everything was great. We were all able to meet in the lobby and pool areas to just hang out and talk and never once felt like an annoyance or that we all weren’t welcomed. Nice variety for breakfast, good internet, and the rooms are very comfortable.

Breakfast was a little lack luster. They only had eggs and pork sausage as the “warm food”. Would’ve liked another option or two besides bagels or cereal.

The hot breakfast in the morning was really good, this was the highlight of my stay. On the down side, the air conditioning unit inside the room was really noisy and loud. Please consider have an A/C repair guy service the unit to make it less noisy. Also, the room was not cleaned by maid service when I returned on my second night. It wasn't a huge deal, but it would have been nice if the bed was made and fresh towels stocked.

It was alright. The amenities in the room weren’t that great. They gave you no water for the coffee pot, no lotion and no shower caps like most hotels do. Your site said we would only be charged one amount however we were charged $29.00 more. For the price I was charged, it wasn’t a great stay.
