My family and I checked in to the Cinnamon Grand of Colombo,Sri Lanka. It is a hotel centrally located near shopping and dining areas. We have always liked the food at the Cinnamon Grand and the little shopping mall, a short, covered walk from the hotel.
Check-in at the Cinnamon Grand is not too complex. The elevators are not as slow as Bangkok or Las Vegas. The hotel rooms have enough room and amenities. Although my wife and I were overcome with a damp and musty smell. Given the age of the hotel and the humidity in Colombo, I can see there is not enough ventilation to air out the hotel rooms.

It is a nice hotel but better hotels around with better prices, and newer.Like the Coffee Stop with good snacks and drinks. Just beside Crescat Shopping ctr with supermarket, food court. Overall, I recommend it.

The first presidential suite in my life! I saw the special offer before departure and booked it quickly. The living room area has a view of the sea, and the scenery is very nice. The room is too big, and it feels like I always have to walk a long way to get things. The snacks in the executive lounge are good, and you can see the Lotus Tower, which is very beautiful when it is lit. There was a wedding in the hotel lobby at noon the next day, and it was very lively. The staff was very polite and greeted them when they saw me. Because it was a midnight flight, they delayed my check-out. In short, I was very satisfied!

This is an old hotel with reliable staff that gives you a sense of security. The rooms have all been renovated over the past few years and are comfortable. They are spacious and comfortable compared to other hotels of the same class. The food is delicious, and this was the first time I ordered room service, which was also very good.
The shopping center next to the hotel has a supermarket on the first floor that is convenient for shopping for souvenirs.

第二次入住肉桂Grand。第一次體驗非常好，第二次入住時間晚了，原來住的地方都滿了所以房間開到了另一邊，能感覺到明顯設備要相對舊一點點，吹風機是壞的，衞生間比另一邊小了些，而且衞生不好，有成團的頭髮和死蟑螂，沒有拖鞋。感覺同一個酒店兩區房間收拾的標準不一樣。當時因為入住時間很晚而且衹住兩晚所以不想找酒店換房間了。如果來住推薦選擇前台入口進去的房間，而不是蛋糕店旁邊進去的房間。希望酒店可以多提升一下這邊房間的標準。
服務員態度很好，入住的時候因為系統有問題連開了兩個房間都是雙人間，服務員後續跑了4個房間才找到一個正確的單人間，點個贊。
酒店離海邊走路要15分鐘，但是離人工港口和shopping mall還需要一段距離，最好打個tuktuk
