Days Inn by Wyndham College Station University Drive

Staff was nice and welcoming. Location was great! Rooms clean. Area safe. Will definitely revisit if ever that way again.

I accidentally booked rooms at the Days Inn in College Station instead of the correct location an hour away. I immediately called to try to correct the reservation, but was told they would not accommodate any changes. I managed to rearrange part of my group to stay in the correct town, while the others were headed to College Station. Unfortunately, an emergency arose, and we ultimately had to return home. I called a second time to explain the situation, but was told that because I had initially called about the booking error, there was nothing they could do — we would still be charged for the rooms, even though we could not use them. While I understand policies are in place, a little more compassion and flexibility would have made a difference. This is not something we experience often, and it was very disappointing to be met with such rigidity. As a school, we choose hotels carefully based on location, safety, and customer service. After this experience, we will definitely think twice before booking with Days Inn again.

If you want to stay at a place, which keeps asking extra money for services you already paid for, then stay at Wyndham. They demanded that 3 people sleep on a bed. I called Wyndham Customer Service and they won’t pickup phone. To make my family sleep appropriately, they forced me to pay for rollaway and even after paying that, made me wait hours for check in. Wi-Fi didn’t work, we paid for breakfast which we never got. I would rank them in bottom 1 % of hotels in entire USA. Greedy, Rude, Demeaning, pretty good at ruining celebration. We left just after a day even though our booking was for longer and paid for it.

Bed bugs Founds bed bugs right away. Showed the front desk pictures and they said they would have to investigate themselves and determine if they are bedbugs. I requested a refund because I was NOT going to stay there and they said because I booked through a third-party for hotel reservations that they would not refund.
