Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham College Station

The stay was nice the pool was awesome breakfast could’ve been a little better like cooked scrambled eggs salsa and turkey sausage for people who don’t eat pork

Friendly staff, old rooms

The shower drain was stopped up. The cold water faucet was backwards. There was no rubber backed bathmat. The curtains were difficult to close. Some electrical outlets were loose. The bed was ok The pillows were ok. The rooms were clean. The wake up call was on time. In all our travels, we have NEVER had to pay for breakfast. Paying $173 a night and having to pay for breakfast as well is ridiculous! We will not being staying in any of you hotels again.

I went to College Station for my interview at Texas A&M University and decided to stayed at Microtel. I booked a single studio and it was huge, convenient and has a mini kitchen. The bed was comfy with soft pillows. The customer service was good. The receptionist, Bailey, called me 1 hour before check-out to make sure everything okay, and do I want to extend to stay or I want to check out. I've been stayed a lot of Inn in Texas but the is the first Inn ever asked me about that. Very impressive!!! Very nice!!! Do recommend for anyone who first time come to College Station for short trips and don't now where to stay

Great breakfast

Overall, the stay was okay. The rooms were nice and the continental breakfast was modest. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. The only issue or concern we had was that there was a leak in our room. A couple of the nights we were there, there was heavy rain and our ceiling started leaking. Not the window or window pane. We were out of the room when it started and unaware there was a leak. When we came back, several of our bags and other personal items were soaked. Drenched. When we brought the concern to the staff, they said they have been having a problem with "rooms dripping" and offered us more towels and said that if they get too wet, to let them know and they would swap them out for new towels. I guess I don't know what kind of response we were hoping for, but we were pretty disappointed. No offer to switch rooms, for a discount, to use the laundry facility to dry our clothes, nothing. I think we were a little more irritated because we got the impression that this was a known issue. Just disappointed and the whole ordeal put a damper on our trip. Literally.
