Property Description
Designed with indoor/outdoor living in mind, our comfortable home has decks on three sides accessed by sliding doors at the back and front. Ideally, a stay of 3-4 nights would allow you to really experience much of what the region has to offer.
The rates for Hazards Homestay are based on four guests staying and not just two then $25+ per extra person per night, as is often the case at other Coles Bay rental properties.
There are ten or more glorious beaches, lots of scenic walks of varying duration, lookouts, many exciting dolphin watching boat cruises, kayak and 4-wheel drive bike tours, a fascinating marine farm excursion, several nearby vineyards with tasting of iconic Tasmanian wines.
Our holiday home is a fully equipped house. The large open plan kitchen, dining, living area has a pine lined cathedral ceiling and a wood heater that can be used to warm the entire house. There are three bedrooms; one has a double bed, another has a queen size bed whilst the third bedroom has two bunk beds and a single bed. In total three singles and two double beds can sleep seven comfortably. Ideal for two small families. Please let us know which beds you intend to use and we will prepare them for you and supply towels and tea towels. All beds have quilts and pillows and extra blankets are stored in the bedroom drawers. We can also provide a portable cot. There is a large fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area. The new bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin. There is a second separate toilet. Upstairs is not accessible. The laundry has a washing machine, sink and our storage cupboards. The firewood is stacked near the water tank. I use my mobile to access the internet and can use it as a hotspot for my laptop. Free wifi is available in the Coles Bay village. Well maintained tracks allow access to the iconic Wineglass Bay and across the isthmus to Hazard Beach and to more beaches further down the peninsula.
