"From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel has been decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The quality of the internal design is among the finest I have encountered, with a real attention to detail that creates an atmosphere of refinement and comfort throughout. The rooms themselves were incredible — luxurious, spacious, and beautifully maintained, making our stay both relaxing and memorable. The food was also excellent, with the same meticulous care evident not only in the flavours and presentation but also in the settings where meals were enjoyed. Dining here felt like a real occasion, combining high culinary standards with elegant surroundings. The property as a whole is exceptionally well looked after. The gardens are magnificent, clearly tended with the same pride and precision as the interiors. They provide a wonderful backdrop for a stroll or simply a moment of quiet enjoyment. What really elevated our experience, however, was the staff. Every member we encountered was genuinely warm, attentive, and went out of their way to help, adding a personal touch that made the stay truly special. This is a hotel where excellence in every detail is the rule, not the exception."

"Bed fine but room tired. Also too small for two people. Not really very clean. Very small toilet room. Shower room also small. Both very unpleasant. This hotel is very poor. The breakfast was ok. Not really a central location either. Would never return to this hotel. Cognac itself is lovely and there are nicer places to stay. We booked this knowing it would be plain but it was just awful. Badly in need of upgrade. "

"Great location! The accommodation is very good! Walking distance to the three well-known brand wineries in Ganyu! The room is also very large, some rooms to the terrace! And the windows are old French floor-to-ceiling windows on the top! Very very classical! Highly recommended hotel!"

"Absolutely loved our stay here. All staff were happy and friendly and it feels as though everything is cared about from the cleaning, general look of the place and furnishings to the breakfast. The location is excellent, we parked the car opposite the hotel on the Friday evening when we arrived and didn’t use it again until we left on the Sunday morning. Perfect in every way."

"Welcoming, friendly, helpful, polite, downside this year very little hydrostatic paper remained in the unwinder coupled with 2 rolls. . Despite my report, I was told at reception that there was enough paper, that the room had been made before my arrival and that I did not know how to operate the coupled unwinder and I was kindly explained that when a roll is empty you push to bring the opposite full roll. And,,, they agreed with me, there was almost nothing left, fortunately for the train journey I had brought a full roll But otherwise everything is impeccable and the staff greet you even when they pass you in the street and they are off duty. So I want to point it out, I just said a downside"

"Since we stayed off-season, breakfast was not a buffet, but rather was ordered at check-in. The portions were small so I recommend ordering what you like. The location was great, within a 15-minute walk of the city center and a 5-minute walk to Chateau Cognac and Hennessy. The spacious grounds made for a relaxing stay."
