Property Description
Make a great choice and stay at our tastefully remodeled Sanders Beach area bungalow, just 7 short walking or riding blocks from the heart of downtown Coeur d'Alene! This neighborhood is considered one of CDA's best, thanks to quiet residential streets, location near the lake and downtown, and the large number of remodeled and newly built custom homes. The space Some of the best local landmarks surround the home. Sanders Beach and Tubbs Hill lake trail are just a few blocks south, worth visiting year round. The Centennial bike trail is right out your front door. Downtown is 7 blocks west, with its numerous restaurants, coffee shops, boutique stores, McEuen Park, the CDA Resort, and so much more. And great east Sherman restaurants plus a grocery store are two blocks north. In fact some could stay here without a vehicle. For those driving, enjoy the off-street covered carport parking plus an uncovered space, both allow for double parking up to four cars. EV? There's a 15amp outdoor plug in the carport, and future plans to offer a high speed charger Bikes (his/hers and kids) and seasonal lake toys (inflatable dual kayaks and SUP's, floatables,. snorkel gear) all provided free upon request- so you don't have to hassle renting! The Centennial Trail is a fun and level ride in either direction, and Tubbs is great for exploring by kayak and snorkeling. Once winter hits, the lake is deep and won't freeze so bundle up and you still kayak (hard kayaks available by request.) And you'll be close to Interstate 90, also Hwy 95 for a quick trip to a number of great ski resorts. Or cross country ski right out your front door on snowy days to McEuen Park (skis provided on fcfs basis). Fat tire electric snowbike rentals are a fun choice too! And once the activities are over, OR for those just looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway altogether, relax and unwind in the hot tub, and use our smart TV's with any number of streaming channels on the 65 inch Roku living room TV, or either of the bedroom 55 inch Roku TV's. Or head over to the outdoor fire table and comfy chairs with umbrella protection for some fun outdoor time in any weather. We also have a xbox with games and DVD's, plus board games to complete the fun. Our goal is to provide guests with an incredible resort-like vacation experience, not just offer yet another place to sleep. Try finding other vacation rentals with this many amenities at this price point!!!!!!!!! All furniture is new, stylish and comfy. Local art adorns the walls. Travelers will appreciate our attention to detail. Groups up to six allowed. Sleeping options are the king or queen bed in each private bedroom (each room with its own climate control), and the queen sofa sleeper in living room. Seating for six in the formal dining room, and two more at the locally sourced cedar bartop. Also notice the custom wood accent wall. The remodeled kitchen has everything a chef needs. New fridge has an ice maker, with filter pitcher provided, and a new dishwasher for fast clean ups. Get the day started with the K-cup coffee and tea station, add a French press for serious grounds, and indulge in the free breakfast station with waffle maker, syrup and pankake mix. Don't forget the outdoor BBQ and picnic table, grill up any dish any time of year. Washer and dryer adjacent to kitchen. Heating and cooling via a new ductless mini split system, keeps temps perfect in all spaces. PLEASE NOTE: this is a shared wall property in a nice residential neighborhood. The other home may or may not be rented at the time of your stay (inquire if you have a group up to 12 and would like both spaces). It is a well designed building with a soundproof wall, beds at opposite ends, and six foot privacy fencing seperating outdoor areas, so regular noise isn't an issue. We do ask that you practice common sense and typical neighborhood courtesy. For example, we get many guests from the local area who sometimes have friends they might invite for a day get-together, which is fine if notice is given, but if there's many people talking loudly around the fire table past 10pm, that could create an unwanted noise issue. For those seeking a more private property that's outside CDA's dense residential neighborhoods, take a look at my fun A-frame lake cabin only 10 minutes from here - .com/h/cdacabin BRINGING THE FAMILY? We're kid friendly! Find a generous number of kids books and toys, kid movies and Xbox games, and kids bikes plus helmets. For the really young ones we have a baby bath, plug protectors, packnplay, table mount high chair, clean new lvp floors, and an overall safe environment. PET LOVER? Up to two dogs ok but must be housetrained and declared during booking by the guest. There is a one time $50 pet fee, and some simple rules to follow like- must be housetrained, clean up after them, no going on furniture without using the provided sofa protector, and no leaving unattended unless crated or left outside (if not barkers.) There's a fenced backyard with locking gate. If any special requests or situations with pets, please reach out beforehand. NOTICE TO THOSE WITHOUT PETS OR WITH PET ALLERGIES - we clean very throughly after every stay and have yet to have a guest who has an allergic reaction to a prior dog stay. We are family owned and have run another successful lake cabin for years with hundreds of positive reviews. We live in town, manage our own listings, and are quick to respond to any requests. Family trip We had a great stay. The description of the duplex, surrounding area and amenities were helpful with our planning. The bonus was they were accurate! We enjoyed the various areas to sit outside and took the bikes to Trader Joe's for groceries and to the downtown area for coffee and exploring. The communication with the host was easy and timely. The hot tub, wild turkeys and wild rabit were highlights for the kids. We take an annual trip to Silverwood and this place was an unexpected bonus.

The owner Brian is excellent to communicate with, and the amount of thoughtfulness he puts in to make sure we are comfortable in our stay is amazing. The location is great. It is walking distance to the beach, and also Tubb Hill natural trail. We will stay again if we are in the area again!

Perfect getaway Perfect place for a quick getaway! The place was comfortable and clean in a quiet neighborhood. Weather wasn’t great for us, but it just made the hot tub that much better! Would definitely stay here again. Oh and the king size bed was extremely comfortable as well:)

Cute, cozy and convenient The property was easy to find and access. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and the convenient access to the downtown scene. Absolutely loved the hot tub! We only used one of the rooms and the bed in the room to the left is INCREDIBLY comfy and cozy. The only thing that was annoying was the smoke detector kept going off at random which was startling multiple times. We ended up having to unplug it for the evening. Would definitely stay here again!
