Ramada by Wyndham Cocoa

I rarely write reviews. It must be exceptionally good or exceptionally bad to take the time. This place is bad. Can’t believe Wyndham is not embarrassed by it. Filthy floors…do NOT walk barefoot in room…especially after you shower!! You will wonder why your clean feet just turned black and left footprints everywhere. Stained comforter on bed. Huge crack under room door to let bugs or whatever in. Want tea for breakfast? Reach in box of unwrapped tea bags that everyone else’s hands have touched and enjoy! Whole property has a dirty vibe..very old and run down. Wasn’t expecting luxury, but do expect clean. It was close to venue for an event I was attending for one night and check in took over an hour so no time to change hotels. But would never go back.

If you come to this hotel thinking it is a basic travel lodge level hotel you'll be good. It's cheaper than the rest of the area hotels for a reason. The beds have springs that are squeaky and the tubs have their age showing with wear and tear showing, but the room itself is fine and most importantly the clean. The Continental breakfast was better than some, with eggs and ham included with waffles, bagels, muffins, toast, biscuits and gravy and juice and coffee. If I were taking a cruise in the future and needed a one night crash pad I would definitely stay here again, it's fine for a place to lay your head before or after a cruise.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in Room did NOT match photos. Room was not updated. Marble showers are a joke. We had mold stained showers, mold on shower curtains. Exposed electrical wires, missing hair dryer, only 1 chair so both of us couldn’t sit together, there was 1 dim light in the corner of the room opposite of the bed no bed side lights, so we couldn’t see to unpack or anything. Had to use flashlights on our phone. Not to mention the riff raff they allowed to roam the property just felt unsafe leaving my vehicle in the lot. It was a horrible experience all around. If I could’ve got my money back immediately and went somewhere else I would have but they refused any refund or resolve for the issues. The breakfast would never pass health codes. Pancake batter in an open bucket with a big ladle. Warm juice cause the cooler on juice machine obviously was broke so they placed a broken dirty cooler with ice and a ladle to scoop. Could not eat this recipe for disaster.

Disappointed Very disappointed in the condition of this property in just a year. They were remodeling last year so my expectations were a little higher this year, but the property is worse. Curtains wouldn't close and the clerk was not helpful.The term " lipstick on a pig" would be appropriate . We were cruising so it served it's purpose but I will not be back at this hotel.the next time I cruise. Again very disappointed with the conditions.

The advertisement was nothing like the property. It was next to a truckstop. The rooms were filthy. There were bugs in the windowsills. The property had drug paraphernalia. The curtains wouldn’t close so people could look inside and I had to get clips from the desk to clip the curtains closed. I would have switched properties had our flight not been delayed twice, causing us to get in after midnight.

Very Good Stay at Ramada, Wyndham property; Cocoa, The staff was very friendly. Room, bedding, cleanliness, quiet - very good.
