Anthony's on the Beach

I arrived and could not access the room. The keyless entry did not work. Another guest stated they had to find someone to show them how to use the lockbox. I called to get assistance and a woman answered and gave me the lockbox code. That code also did not work. I called again and was told to ask ANOTHER GUEST!!! She said she was in another city and "it is easy". I couldn't find a guest. I called again and she said the same thing. I had been traveling for hours and was tired and faint. I made another reservation and left. They are unprofessional, lack customer service and pose a safety risk to their guests. To have gain entry to your room by finding a stranger is CRAZY!!! I WILL NEVER BOOK THEM AGAIN. BEWARE!

Place was reasonable price. No wait. But the room had an awful smell. All my clothes smelled so bad. Very strange

Some positives: great location, right on the beach, with terrific decks and views. We watched a couple of rocket launches right from the deck. Our room had clearly been renovated and the bathroom was terrific. Bed was comfortable. Price was good. Parking adequate. Some negatives: They forgot to renovate the linens - they were old and stained and the blanket had a burn hole in it. Nasty towels. No maid service. That's ok, I know many places are moving to this model, but you need to tell people in advance. They seem to want to go digital but don't know how. Received several text messages with broken links. Electronic room door access did not work (fortunately there was a physical key available). We had to track down extra TP and towels on our own.
