Discovery Beach Resort

Great resort with easy beach access. The beach path has trees on both sides, not to my liking but I managed. All rooms have acean view except for maybe the 2nd floor. On the 3rd floor I gad yo look over trees. The ocean sound and view were great. Private balcony was long and spacious. Room is well stocked with kitchen items. You will need more paper towels and laundry detergent. Publix is 3 blocks away. About 5 blocks away is a nice ice cream parlor. The pier is close by. All in walking distance. No car needed if you just want to chill and use the local restaurants and beach. Floors are thin and the chairs drag. They need protectors on chairs to limit the noise. The pool is very small. No kiddie pool. 3ft only lasts about 3-5 feet of space so kids that can't swim will need a vest. Onsite restaurant. No pesky bugs, flies or mosquitoes in or outside. The hot tub is too tall to sit. The bubbles comes up, vice blowing out so it goes into your face even if you're tall. I had to stand up otherwise the water would be at my face; I'm 5'6". I enjoyed the sauna. It was a nice tranquil resort.

Well appointed condo right on the beach! Also had nice amenities for the price (gym, ping pong, pool, hot tub, sauna, basketball, and tennis all free!) It is owned by a time share company - I was signed up for a presentation but declined because they changed the terms of my rewards. To summarize - the place and staff are great if you are just renting, but I don't recommend the timeshare part.

Discovery always feels like coming home. The staff is continually professional and extremely helpful in all ways. Corey is a person who will try to please you in whatever you need. Jessica can help you plan any excursion you want and is so honest about all the aspects. Eat in the restaurant! It’s delicious! Breakfast can’t be beat! All rooms and all areas are kept clean! I can’t say enough about staying at Discovery!

Discovery Beach never disappoints. The location is close to the pier and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores.

Best ocean view 2 bedroom suite ever! Very nice and helpful staff too. So much to do you don't need to leave except for food and exploring.

Overall a nice accommodation with slight compromises. Very nice apartment with balcony overlooking the sea. Everything you need is there. Unfortunately the bed was a bit old and worn out. It squeaked extremely loudly with every movement. Showering was practically impossible as there was no water pressure. That was a bit of a shame and worsened our impression somewhat. Apart from these two points, however, a very good place to stay.
