Avoid at all costs. I'm escaping domestic violence and sought help for the first time just to be relocated by Salvation Army to this motel were within the first hour I had already witnessed horrendous acts of violence. Neverending racism, fights, threats, property damage etc. After looking for a plug to plug the tv in (there was non) I found a filthy crackpipe hidden on-top of cupboard. A few hours into my stay, my room was hotboxed with crystal meth via the ******* that stay here puffing then intentionally exhaling the smoke in through the gaps to my room. After feeling dizzy, disoriented, tremor, and paronia and really speedy. I immediately grabbed my bag and left and contacted Salvation army and Police. I was essentially told to "suck it up" and go back there as my stay for the next few nights had been paid for. And As well the preston police officer suggesting I lay towels beneath the door to block the smoke out.. I was lost for words. Essentially advising I unwillingly develop a *************** dependence and inhale neurotoxic chemical. I regret any help I requested from Salvation Army. No-one was held accountable and the solution given was to just suck it up.
