We spent three nights at this charming old country house set off a quiet road in the beautiful Wicklow countryside which has been maintained to a high standard by our hosts Jeff and Svetlana of who we could not have asked more. Arriving on a wet Sunday evening we got settled in for the night in a superbly spacious and comfortable room with large windows that gave views onto the well managed 5.5 acre gardens. There is no TV in the room but we found that a blessing however if you wish to watch TV there is one in the very comfortable downstairs lounge. The following mornings we were treated to a freshly cooked and substantial breakfast with ample offerings for those who prefer a continental breakfast but I would recommend trying the omelette made with eggs laid by Svetlana's own chickens who we seen running around outside. Indeed the grounds which also include ducks and peacocks are well worth taking time to explore as they offer a peaceful space to relax if you don't feel like wandering off. There are three friendly Airdale terrirs roaming around andthis place caters for dogs at an addional fee. As I alluded to in the beginning Jeff and Svetlana were geneial hosts ever willing to offer advice on local places to visit and eat out and their cheerful and welcoming demeanour only added to our enjoyment of this peaceful haven.

Rented Clone House out exclusively for a group of 20 people for a hen party. Couldn't recommend enough. The house was perfect for what we needed. Large dining room, Victorian sitting room for playing games, all bedrooms were perfect and everyone had their own bathroom/ensuite. Beautiful gardens so could be outside if wanted, and a large decking area with cool sun loungers just a few steps from the house. Bonus of three very cute, friendly and quiet dogs living on site! Jeff was a pleasure to deal with and received deposit back very promptly. Would be perfect for family gathering, hen party, small wedding, any event really! Highly recommend.

The grounds are lovely, very picturesque and if you are looking for an isolated getaway this is it. It was my friend’s very first time at an Irish B&B, however, and the expected warmth and welcome by the owners was not extended. Rather brusque and disengaged. Saw briefly once, at check in. Breakfast was mediocre. Thank goodness for the pretty grounds.

What a charming B&B! A total surprise. It’s tucked in a beautiful farmland, yet very close to towns and cities. Svetlana kindly upgraded our room to a suit. Everything was perfect. The breakfast has many options with freshly baked scones, French omelet, pancakes, oatmeal and other goodies. We enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend the Clone House.

20 of us went to Clone House for a hen party on the Sunday of the June Bank Holiday. It could not have been nicer. We had the full run of the house which was ideal given we had karaoke late in the evening! The accommodation was lovely; the beds were comfy with most of the rooms en-suite. We opted for the 3 course meal with full breakfast the next morning and it was delicious. Jeff was an attentive host and the staff were very friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend Clone House for a night away in the beautiful countryside near Aughrim.

This is our second visit to Clone House and we love it. It is a beautiful old house with gorgeous gardens. We loved our bedroom and ensuite bathroom which although in the style of an older era were perfectly modern in terms of comfort. Guests can sit in the beautiful sitting room and enjoy a drink( bring your own) There is an open fire in the room. Lovely choice of breakfasts. We tried 3 options and all were delicious. Jeff and Svetlana are really nice and very helpful. Ideal for a relaxing break. I will definitely go back

We were exhausted after a long flight and driving day. We were quickly checked in and could rest. We had a wonderful recovery sleep. Location is very quiet which i like.
