Lawn Cottages

We had a wonderful stay at Lawn Cottages and will definitely return! The cottage was very spacious, very clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The table and chairs on the deck where we could have our meals and drinks or just relax was a bonus! The surrounding gardens were beautiful, it was very peaceful and while there were other guests staying in the other cottages we never saw them due to the positioning of each cottage. We found the whole experience from booking the cottage with the owner (Janie) and chatting to the property manager (Eric) exceptional, it truly was a lovely stay.

Stayed in Rose cottage and friends stayed in Magnolia cottage for a 4 day break. The cottage has everything you would need for a break, well equiped kitchen, air con comfy bed and lovely sitting out area of decking. Greatly appreciated the laundry (free) and laundry powder (also very kindly free). Cottage was close enough to our friends to pop back and fore but still maintained privacy and in a peaceful relaxing setting. Location rural but only mins from supermarket etc in Clive and Napier maybe 10 mins for more choice. Lots of vineyards locally so all in all a perfect location for a Hawks Bay visit. Couldn't fault the cottage or location.

We have just spent 2 delightful nights at Lawn Cottages . 2 couples in our 70’s, one from Tasmania and one from Canada, our time here was way to short. The accommodation was the best we have stayed in on our 2 week visit to both South and North Islands. Impecacably clean, 2 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, fantastic kitchen and living area inside and out, the owners are really doing this well. Very private, great gardens with limes, pears etc growing around the cottages and close proximity to Napier, Clive, Havelock and Hastings and all the great vineyards in this area. And to our surprise , provisions awaiting us in the way of eggs, bread, milk , coffee and tea , oils, some butter and jam… which was very appreciated even though we had doubled up prior to arriving. Could have easily spent a week here relaxing, seeing more vineyards and breweries and little more retail therapy for the girls. Don’t look elsewhere

We stayed in the one bedroom Rose cottage, plenty of room, modern facilities, very clean and great outdoor deck area, had everything we needed, peaceful, quiet and private, highly recommend , great central HB location as only 10-15 mins to Havelock, Napier, Hasting and only short distance to jump onto a bike trail, loved our stay

Our family stayed at Lawn Cottages last weekend for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The 2 bedroom Kowhai cottage we stayed in was absolutely pristine. Everything was sparkling. The linen was of high quality and the beds were made up beautifully. Lots of nice little touches such as lovely smelling hand wash, body wash and shampoo in the bathroom was lovely. The very thoughtful touch of providing the first mornings breakfast supplies was such a nice treat also. The gardens were lovely and all the cottages are very private. It's like a home away from home but only better.... We will definitely be back! The owners clearly put a lot of time and effort into these Cottages.... Stunning! Thank you.....
