Opposite the road from a supermarket and part of a large venue. Can be noise at night but the staff will communicate with you in advance if there’s an event on. Nice room and nice bathroom

Really lovely hotel - staff very polite and friendly, the bedroom was clean and very good size. Beds very comfortable and a fab shower in a roomy bathroom - only down side (which isn’t the hotels fault) was a manhole banging throughout our stay every time a car ran over it - on the main road outside of the hotel !

Average hotel. No parking or loading bay by hotel- be warned you have to park in public parking and walk to it in wet weather. Marketed as king size bed but question that completely. Bed seemed like an oversize double. Heating in room did not work. Room was cold and it was 10C outside. Breakfast included in price but lacked imagination and not great quality. May be fine for some but did not entice us back to Clitheroe. Sorry!

Nice hotel in an old converted building in a good area of clitheroe. Rooms are a good size and the staff are helpful and pleasant. Two things to look out for: 1. If you get a room above the bistro, it will be noisy. The bistro was closed / no event was on when I stayed yet the music was still on which sounded like the speaker was pressed against floor. 2. Cleanliness - my initial room (room 26) , had stains on the carpet, leading from the bed to the table. I decided to pull the sheets back and the mattress protector and mattress were covered in stains, it was terrible. The staff at reception were great and moved me to another room. I would check the bed before getting settled in, stains etc should not be acceptable at any hotel.

Do not stay here! We stayed whilst the bistro was booked out for a private party. The hotel room was unusable from 7pm-12:30am due to the loud noise and vibrations/shaking from the party. The breakfast service was dire; an hour to get served cold food with a hair in it. Very poor customer service when concerns raised. They did advise us in advance there was a private party, but where not honest about how bad it would be and that in effect we would not be able use the room during that time. The venue as a whole was good with beer hall, live music etc just not the hotel.

Warm welcome, room lovely, clean and modern. Complex fabulous, lovely long bar, farm shop with cafe, cinema and bowling alley. Breakfast was great, local produce and served well. Only issue was noise from grid lid in road outside, asked to be moved but unable as hotel full during our stay.

Great place for a break
Beautiful, spacious and comfortable room, great shower (and toiletries!) - just what we wanted for some proper R&R. The breakfast was excellent and was served in a really attractive room. Had a beer hall with dozens of draught beers next door! And the staff were very friendly and helpful.
