We stayed here a second time as my older son attended a camp at Clemson, where he hopes to attend. Just like the first, the staff, all of them, were wonderful. Kind and helpful, it seemed like nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are super comfortable, the pool and cabana were great. Being next door to the Neri Center was great for our tour the next morning with my younger son and my wife. My younger son also enjoyed golf at the course. If things work out, we look forward to our return!

The Martin Inn is the epitome of Southern hospitality. Situated on the banks of beautiful Lake Hartwell, the room was as wonderful as the view. Comfortable, great decor and on the property of Clemson University all helped to make this a first class experience.

The grounds and amenities are nice but the room was disappointing. It was extremely damp, the walls were sweating. There was urine on the bathroom wall. The sink on the left side had the filthiest brown water coming from faucet. The sheets were scratchy. The beds were very narrow (definitely not queen sized) and awkwardly tall. The fridge was difficult to open and close because the door would catch on lip of the plastic drip tray it was sitting on. The couch was so filthy it belongs in a dumpster, and the furniture is super outdated. The location is beautiful but I would not stay in this hotel again because it is in desperate need of extensive renovation.

A wonderful place to stay in Clemson. They have such a friendly staff and have the benefit of a cafe and restaurant at the Madren Center.

Beautiful property with golf course, lake and large outdoor pool views. Nice first floor patios to make bringing dogs convenient. Second stay and would continue to stay here.

We had a great stay. Room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant and we were glad to be able to walk in and be seated. Beautiful grounds and a wonderful golf course. We enjoyed playing golf. We will be back to stay and play. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

My wife and I returned for a two night stay at the Martin Inn. The hotel is most convenient for any activity at Clemson University., and is clean, with very nice appointments and amenities. The local restaurant, Sole on the z green, is also very nice. The hotel sits on Lake Hartwell is the view is beautiful as is thr ambience. The rates are most reasonable and we look forward to returning.
